This new, architect designed beach house is a short walk to beautiful Seacliff State Beach/Pier in a small, stroll-able neighborhood of giant cypress trees. The vacation rental is the ground floor unit of the two story house, with its own separate entrances and all amenities. (upstairs studio not included in rental area).

The living room has a very comfortable full size couch, lazy boy, large TV with cable & DVD, & free WIFI. Porcelain tile & wall to wall carpeting, gas fireplace. Two bedrooms include 1 double bed with memory foam mattress & 2 twin beds. Bath has a separate vanity & deep "soaking tub." Full kitchen has round table for four, d/w, micro, gas stove, stainless steel sink. Separate washer/dryer area.
ALL beach gear is provided - so no need to bring your own umbrella, chairs, toys, beach towels or boogie boards. The fenced, native plant yard is private, and the large redwood deck has morning sun-perfect for coffee. The deck & brick patios, patio heater, tables & chairs, & Weber gas BBQ are ready to use.

Several good restaurants & beach are easy walks, shopping center with food, bookstores, theater, shops -few blocks away; Giant Redwood parks, Capitola, & Santa Cruz are 5- 10 minutes; Carmel, Monterey, 45 minutes; San Francisco, 1 hour.

  • This rental was PERFECT for my family (two adults and two teenagers). It was very comfortable and the location was convienent! The girls enjoyed the use of the boogie boards and I enjoyed the use of the beach equipment. I would totally recommend this rental!

  • This home was clean, comfortable and owners were very accomodating. Great access to Rt.#1 for side trips. Very nice garden & patio for relaxing & dining. Beach within walking distance but far enough that driving was more convenient. Everything was as advertised.

  • Every time I am in the Santa Cruz area,I stay at Harriot House. It is a lovely house on a quiet street. It is so comfortable and clean and just a quick walk to the state park and the ocean. It is also a short drive to Capitola or Santa Cruz, but it is very easy to just stay in and enjoy the coziness of the house and surroundings. The owners are easy and pleasant to deal with and I always leave looking forward to the next time.
