Classic low country home on the fairway of the award-winning Ocean Creek Golf Course, with a marsh view on the other side. Centrally located in the newest area of Fripp Island near the most popular amenities and best beaches. The Cabana Club, Beach Club, Davis Love playground, crabbing dock, Tennis Center, and Marina are located five minutes away by bike or cart.
The exterior combines the low country look with newest architectural features for this spacious, 2300 square foot home. The interior was designed and furnished by an Atlanta design firm.
This luxuriously appointed three bedroom and separate sleeping loft, four bath home has an open floor plan with forty foot lofted ceilings in the entry way, a fireplace in the great room, and hardwood flooring in the main living area. The kitchen was designed with the cook in mind and is fully-equipped with high end appliances and a wide range of cookware and service settings.
The washer and dryer are conveniently located near the first floor bedrooms. The kitchen is open to the adjoining great room with an antique dining table for ten. The entertainment area has a fireplace, large flat panel TV and audio system with various board games and books. The master bedroom with king-size bed is on the second level with an entertainment den/loft with a queen-size sleeping sofa.
Two Fripp Club amenity cards are included in the rent and additional cards may be obtained. Golf cart is also included ($350 value). Bikes and beach chairs and fishing equipment available. Pets are welcome.

Another week at Fripp, this time in the down season. Our family enjoyed a wonderful week of pure relaxation. Lots of golf cart rides to visit the deer and alligators, walks on the beach, fishing, crabbing and of course bike rides. The kitchen was a pleasure to cook in! We prepared many fine meals with fresh shrimp from Gay Fish Co and even enjoyed some oysters in front of the fire. Plenty of room for us all to find our own spots and cozy up with a book. We will be back to this gorgeous home in the Spring for a different Kind of Fripp adventure!Recommended for: Age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We have been to Fripp for over a decade, always trying different locations and accommodations as the family has grown up. This year's vacation was the best by far. The house is in a secluded portion behind Ocean Creek Golf Course with quick access to all island points within ten minutes. Great kitchen and dining area with fantastic layout and room for all. No bumping around others trying to make meals. House is well appointed with five star decor and all accessories. Seems like the only thing we forgot was already there (Oreo's in the cookie jar!!). We look forward to returning again SOON (learned where Urgent Care is located unfortunately...)! Our highest compliments to best wishes to the family!! Loved the nature (raccoons, deer, opossum, and the odd gator and snake in the expected places far away).Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

Just wanted to thank you for letting us spend a week at your beautiful beach house. We had a wonderful time, the baby friendly place was ideal for our 1yr old grand daughter. We just finished a long weekend at your lovely home with three generations of our family. The baby room is perfect for the grand children and there is plenty of room for the teenagers as well. About the owner: Karen and Bob Clydesdale live in Atlanta but have vacationed in South Carolina for twenty years, first with a place on Hilton Head. Moved to a quieter Fripp Island seven years ago to escape the traffic and rediscover the family beach life.
Why the Owner Chose Ocean Creek, Fripp Cottages:
Easy access to very large, white beaches with tidal pools for small kids to play while others can surf and swim in the Atlantic. The island is pet friendly with many families on the beach all day until sun down. Great sea food sources just off the island with fresh shrimp and fish and unique restaurants. Near to Beaufort and Port Royal and a short day trip to Charleston ann Savannah.
