Welcome to Green Oasis: a beautiful, pristine, spacious three bedroom, three bathroom house in the desirable wind-free South Palm Springs area. House is only a few minutes to downtown Palm Springs and the Resort Spa Casino as well as the Smoke Tree shopping complex. This house is powered by solar panels and our pool is warmed by a solar heater. Utilities for renters during fall through spring are very reasonable since most of the pool heating and electricity are supplied by sunshine. Our beautiful desert-scape garden saves on water and our lighting system saves on energy.
Very private backyard is planted with mature citrus trees -- loaded with fruit in winter, fragrant with blossoms in Spring. Fantastic view of mountains in the West for amazing sunsets and cloud shows. Master bedroom features California king bed and walls covered with Shag (Josh Aigle) prints. Master has 37 inch HD t.v. with DVD player and cable. Second bedroom is great for kids with twin beds and t.v. with DVD player. Twin beds can be pushed together as a single bed. Den has wide-screen television and cable with HBO, sound system, and a pull-out couch for two more sleepers. Back bedroom has queen bed and flat screen t.v. with cable.
Kitchen is fully equipped and also has PC with DSL. Living room has cathedral ceiling, piano, fireplace, loads of original art and African wood sculptures.
Directly across from the house is a park with two well maintained tennis courts that are always available. Play at night under the lights! Area is lovely, quiet, sandwiched between golf courses and parks -- a warm and tranquil piece of paradise.
Will consider small to medium, housebroken, non-chewing, flea-free dogs. Use credit card through PayPal with 3% service charge for domestic guests.
"Your house was the perfect spot for our yearly spring break with our daughter and her family. And we especially appreciated our ability to bring our dog. The house feels like a home. Every amenity you could want and beautiful art work as well. The smell of the citrus trees as we sat by the pool was so nice. The location is quiet and free from drive-by traffic. We had a wonderful visit and hated to leave. Needless to say, we are looking forward to our return next year!"

"My needs were simple. To celebrate my partner’s birthday, I wanted a weeklong rental of a nice house in Palm Springs, with a pool and enough bathrooms and beds for her family to join us on the weekend. The pictures and descriptions on the website were nice, but having rented many vacation homes in the past, I know that things are not always as they appear on screen. That was absolutely not the case on Alta Loma Drive. My high expectations were quickly exceeded. Here’s what we got: a beautiful, clean and uniquely decorated and lit home and outdoor area, a heated saltwater pool and spa, a great kitchen with every appliance we would need (and we cooked 3 meals a day), TVs in every room, a great sound system and home theater set-up, outdoor dining, a manicured park and private tennis courts across the street, (rackets and balls provided), a computer with fast internet access, breeze-manufacturing ceiling fans outside, and very nice neighbors. We’d had big plans to visit downtown, go to Joshua Tree, see some interesting desert architecture, etc. It didn’t happen. Except to shop for groceries, we never left the house. It was as close to perfect as eight days at 110+ degrees can be.
I was hesitant to post this note for obvious reasons. I don’t want you renting this beautiful house the next time I call Clark to check its availability.
