The condo is emaculate, well-maintained and stocked with everything needed for a getaway. We really enjoyed being steps away from the gondola and next to restaurants and the market. The private balcony has a great little view of the mountain and we absolutely loved the huge hot tub and heated pool! Tara was super easy to work with and went out of her way to ensure we had everything we needed. Everything listed is entirely accurate and we'll definitely be back soon!

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights during ski season. What a great place. Close walk to Gondola and restaurants. Hot tub very nice and easy walk from condo. The condo had all the amenities you could want & Tara was the best host ever - helping us out with groceries, lift tickets, & restaurant recommendations. We will be staying here next year for sure!

Not only is this awfully close to the base of the gondola but very well stocked with basic supplies. Owner is very personable and flexible and it was very clean and convenient. The full kitchen made it very nice to make some meals and the small washer and dryer is awesome to do a load of wash if needed. My husband, son and I really enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend it to anyone who is considering it.

Seriously, this was the perfect place for my wife and me. Step out the door and you're a short walk away from getting on the gondola. It's close enough to consider eating lunches there and not losing ANY ski time! The place itself is a wonderful little pad and great for two -- big picture window overlooks an outside deck and the front side of Steamboat Ski Area. The living area is honestly BIG -- the owner has the furniture well-placed and it's comfortable. Don't let the term "studio" scare you away as this place is roomy and well-planned. Also, don't be put off by the description when it talks about the "murphy bed" as it is VERY VERY comfortable. The kitchen area was large enough for us to prepare light meals with moderate cooking and the bathroom was great. Really handy was the combination washer-dryer that handled our small loads of clothes every day just great. This place was WELL worth the price and the owner was very personable and easy to work with! The final touch on this was her willingness to work with us on details in planning for the trip and accommodating our questions and needs once we arrived. We HIGHLY recommend this place for two and can't wait to return!

Tara is wonderful about communicating. Her hospitality is outstanding. She made sure we had all the information we needed right away, and followed up a few days before our trip. The condo is lovely, like a home away from home. It was very clean and tidy, with all the amenities we could wish for. It's just a couple of minutes walk from the gondola, practically ski in, ski out. The hot tub and pool were great, our 7 year old had a blast (in December!). We'll be back :-)

We had a wonderful, long weekend here! The condo is very clean, smells wonderful, is located perfectly, and was very comfy for our family of three! Tara was great and easy to work with, even when our car broke down and we needed to extend our stay. I highly recommend this condo and plan to return with my family!

Nice, clean place, and about as close as you can get to the Gondola without staying in the main lodge. Tara was very responsive and made sure I had everything I needed to make the trip worthwhile. I will definitely use it again.

This was a great condo. Perfect for 2 people. It's got everything you need and Tara is extremely easy to work with. Very close to the gondola and everything else at the base of the mountain. If you bring your car, there's an parking garage available to keep snow off your vehicle.

Tara - Just wanted to say thanks a bunch for the hospitality. This unit was perfect for our last days at Steamboat Springs. We enjoyed the ski-in experience. The construction was not so bad concidering the slopeside view from the unit. All I can say is that this unit is a great place for a small family of 3. Thanks again and would love to stay here again if we come back to "The Boat"

I highly recommend this condo. Even though it is a studio, it feels spacious and has everything you could possibly need. The location is convenient to just about everything in Steamboat and an easy bike ride to town along a paved bike trail. Tara is very pleasant and great to work with. We hope to return soon.

Thanks Tara for a great spring break getaway. The condo was perfect for my two kids (age 5 and 7) plus my wife and me. It has a very roomy feel for a studio. We had a blast in the pool and huge hot tub. How great to hop on the gondola right out the front door. The 10" of fresh snow didn't hurt either. We'll be back for sure!

I came down for a few days with my daughter and the condo worked out just perfect for us. Handy to the gondola, ski school, bus and Market on the Mountain. Unit is compact but has everything you need--very well supplied kitchen, games, pool toys, etc. Rates are reasonable too! Thanks, Tara.

My two boys and I enjoyed a fantastic Spring Break at Tara's condo! Very comfortable! Great location for slopes and eats. The kitchen had everything a cook could want and more! Very clean and easy to get in and out of for both skiing and going to town to play. I will return, but I am going to skip the boys and bring my lovely wife!

Excellent condo, convenient, clean, comfortable - we had a blast. We were concerned before booking the unit that it might be a little cramped, but there was plenty of room for the two of us. Tara is a great host and Steamboat rocks.

My boyfriend and I stayed at Tara's condo over New Year's Day weekend(07-08), the busiest time of the year. Everything was booked solid and/or astronomically priced. He originally didn't want to stay there--didn't like the idea of a Murphy bed, thought it was too small, blah, blah--but after going around in circles, we got the place and he admitted, "This is nice." Well, it was far more than nice! The pictures don't do it justice. It's cozy, very tastefully decorated, there are lovely appliances, etc. There's a charming romance to the place with a fireplace and candles everywhere. And the bed turned out to be very comfortable! I was really delighted. My sister and her family had rented a much larger condo which was very cheesy in comparison. They all commented "Wow, this is nice...we'll trade you." Tara was also great about checking in and was very available for suggestions. I would definitely recommend this place if you want a great location with an intimate, inviting space. (I wish I'd been able to visit the health club... and gee, Tara, if I had known you give rides to/from the airport...) Overall, a lovely stay.

Tara is a shining example of why VRBO is such a great resource! She is impeccably reliable, prompt, helpful, and caring of her guests. Personal service all the way. She was extremely helpful when the airlines first lost and then finally delivered my damaged luggage. (don't fly Delta!) She checked in regularly to see if she could help out with this, and even went "above the call of duty" to offer her car to us to return to the airport and address the luggage problem if needed. The condo is in a phenomenal location- cross the parking lot,hop on the gondola, and wisk your way up the mountain! We were attending a conference at the Sheraton- and found the condo incredibly convenient both from a location standpoint as well as amenity (small fridge, microwave, fully equipped kitchen, oven) standpoint. Would happily stay here again. Tara's awesome to work with!

Absolutely fabulous! The condo is conveniently located close to the gondola, market, shops, restaurants and bus stop. The accomodations are wonderful and exactly as seen on the website. What makes the experience even more memorable and different from all my previous experiences is Tara's caring personality and attentiveness to detail. She provided round trip transport to and from the airport and furthermore made sure we had picked up sandwiches in town, prior to boarding the plane. Tara also made sure we picked up groceries before arriving to the condo. She is always available to answer any questions and provide guidance to excursions. She is so well informed and willing to share information about Steamboat. Tara knows what it takes to make a trip great and without any added stress. I cannot wait to return!

What can I say???? What a wonderful vacation. The fact that we were staying in first class accomodations, only 50 yards from the gondola, and having a hands on owner willing to meet our every need/request made this a vacation one to never forget. I can only hope that everyone that stays here has the same memorable and quality experience that we had, because I know I'll never forget it.

Just got back from a ridiculously fun time at Tara's condo in Steamboat. Tara has been at Steamboat for 16 years and knows what's up! LOCATION. Tara's condo is within walking distance of EVERYTHING YOU NEED...mountain, groceries, restaurants, shops, etc... I would absolutely stay in Tara's condo again. She was willing to assist with everything from food recommendations to equipment help. Thanks for a great time!

INSANE! We didn't realize we were going to be so close to the gondy. Great accomodations, right in the middle of everything...walking distance. Of course, a 24 inch dump the night before surely helps the happiness. Steamboat has a lot to offer. Much on the mountain, and much downtown. You can easily stay a week or two at the base and never leave. The condo was everything we expected...and more. Many upgrades from what you would expect from cooking utinsils to bathroom accessories. I'll definitely stay again!!! KILLER LOCATION!!!

Our stay here was wonderful! The condo is very clean, with nice furnishings and bed. It is in a fabulous location, within steps of the gondola, childcare, grocery and restaurants. Tara was wonderful and had groceries in the condo for us when we arrived and took us to the airport, as well as a stop for some decent food for the plane. club has a very large hot tub too! Will definitely stay here again!
