Our completely private remodeled home was recently featured in the Sunday Home section of the Milwaukee Journal. Vaulted ceiling, sky lights, granite counter tops, heated tile floors, breakfast bar, an antique dining table and a huge stone fireplace are featured in the great room. Each bedroom has a queen-size antique bed with custom designer bedding.
You are greeted by flower gardens after driving down the secluded 300 foot driveway. A 50 foot sun deck wraps around the home offering spectacular sunset views of the Door County Peninsula. A cedar stairway leads you down to stone patio sundeck with a fire pit area 15 feet above the Greenbay shoreline. Just in front of the lower patio area is a 50 foot dock ideal for swimming, docking a boat or jet skies or watching the stars at night.

We celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary at this beautiful secluded home in Ellison Bay. The property is picture perfect with an elegantly simple decorated home. Every window frames the landscapes of water and woodland; the deck surrounds the bay breeze. We renewed our wedding vows on the deck during the most beautiful November sunset while our champagne chilled below in Green Bay. This property is immaculately maintained and every detail is considered. The owners were wonderful to correspond with and have welcomed their guests graciously!
Recommended for:Sightseeing, romantic getaway, pet owners, girls getaway, adventure seekers, age 55+.

Before we left your homw I was debating wheather I could barricade myself in - but - I wounldn't want to deprive someone else of the best place to stay in Door County. I have been going to Door County for over 50 years and this is the best. Best accommodations, best weather, best sunsets. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay in your home. The view from the deck looking out at the bay was spectacular as well as all the other amenities. Look forward to staying with you again next summmer.

My family and I want to thank you for renting your beautiful home to us!!! We had the best time and the weather couldn't have been more perfect. We loved your home and found it so inviting. I have been to the Door County a few times before with my parents (when I was quite young) so it brought back a lot of great memories. We all loved Ellison Bay the best! The little town, shops and cooking school! We purchased pottery from a few galleries near by the house and loved exploring the area on our bikes. Thanks again for making our family get-together so special.

We had a wonderful Christmas vacation in Ellison Bay. The house is gorgeous with stunning views over the lake. It's in pristine conditions and very comfortable.It was snowing, windy and cold outside; the owner had the driveway plowed for us, and it was warm and cozy inside.We enjoyed the wood (it says gaz in the description) fireplace with plenty of wood to burn. Everything you might need was provided; the kitchen is great and we cooked a Christmas dinner with duck, cookies, etc... Since it was winter, we couldn't enjoy the "water side" of the house which seems terrific; I wouldn't recommend it for a family with very young children, though. We love Door County during winter, being outside in the snow and cold. People have to know that many things (stores, restaurants and cafés) are closed at this time of the year, even though we found enough nice places to stop at (Base Camp Café, Al Johnson's, the library, in Sister Bay; Leroy's Café in Ephraïm). The property is secluded and you can't walk (or it's a long walk) to Ellison Bay which is a small village. We went mostly to Sister Bay. We greatly recommend this property!
