The Shores Waterside Cottage is situated in Madeira Park, Pender Harbour, 20 ft away and directly opposite the swimming beach of Bargain Bay secretly hidden away from the crowds
Known as the "Venice of the North" Pender harbour has all the inlets, beaches, marinas, coves and bays you could wish for. Spend many hours exploring all that this wonderful area has to offer.
Come home after a day on the water, swimming in the bay or exploring the many local attractions and watch the sea as the sun shines on the water.
The Shores Waterside Cottage has two bedrooms,Bedroom 1 has one double size bed and two single beds, Bedroom 2 has a queen bed, the cottage has a wonderful lounge and dining room with sea view, bathroom with shower, fully equipped kitchen and a large south facing garden that overlooks the bay.
Cottage sleeps 2-6 people all in beds
Cook up a barbecue from your days fishing catch and sit on the deck as the night draws in and soak up the calm atmosphere.

- Located in a quiet no through street with private dock at end of street, beach access directly opposite cottage, used only by locals and is often completely private, sit at the dock to see otters seals herons bald eagles in the evening while the sun sets. Quiet setting away from hussle bussle of busy beaches Deer roam the garden, eagles are also nesting in tree opposite and are often seen swooping down outside cottage South facing with full sun all day just to sit and watch the boats go by, 2 goldfish ponds bbq area. If you want peace and quiet this is it, great for couples and families Just bring your beach towels everything else you require is provided, home is fully equipped so that it is fully comfortable and feels like 'home from home' Lots of trails and walks nearby, sit and enjoy the view, great seafood available from the Marina nearby, also Painted boat resort with spa and swimming facilities within 5 minute walk Great fishing area Just enjoy and relax

We chose to purchase this home for the peace and tranquility of the location, we prefer to holiday away from the crowds, Madeira park is great for couples and families and offers a more private getaway from busy daytripper beaches and lack of privacy
The Unique Benefits at this Cottage
Wildlife at its best, we have deer roaming the yard , eagles that sit atop the trees opposite the cottage each day, otters on the dock at night eating their catch.
Also a perfect fishing bay with plenty of crab and fresh prawns whether caught by yourself or purchased straight from the boats in the harbour

After emigrating from the Uk and living on the sunshine coast for just a few months we were introduced to Shores cottage by a realtor friend and fell in love with it and the charm that it possesses
Over the last few years we have completely renovated the cottage to make it feel cozy and welcoming.
Even though we only live 40 minutes away we feel totally refreshed and relaxed once we reach the area of pender harbour, unpack and relax is our motto and we hope that like our many annual returning guests that you will also enjoy the tranquility and enviromnent of our wonderful home

Our 2 wks stay was absolutely fantastic. What an awesome view out front. We saw many cruise ships go by, the lights of Nanaimo at night. Cant Thank the neighbours enough for the warm wlecome. We were given bottles of wine, use of kayaks and a boat launch. Fishing was great on average one crab and 15-20 prawns each night for dinner, We caught lots of cod the largest about 10lbs A highlight was an eagle dove down on us to take a small rock cod we just released. The best food was at the golf course, and Garden bay pub was a good 2nd choice The house was very comfortable and we had the quietest sleeps ever- not a sound outside at night

We had a wonderful peaceful stay here thankyou just what we were looking for with our 8 wk old and his 3 yr old brother We had fun exploring the beach & the dock & surrounding area Beautiful hike out to francis pennisula point in th epark along the road we'd highly recommend it our 3 yr old made it all the way there and back so its suitable for kids The weather was nice even though its mid november great all round

the view from your cottage is wonderful we would like to have taken advantage of the beach but it rained most of the time The cottage is well stocked and comfortable nice to have the internet on rainy days we had a lovely meal at the painted boat
