Our 2 wks stay was absolutely fantastic. What an awesome view out front. We saw many cruise ships go by, the lights of Nanaimo at night. Cant Thank the neighbours enough for the warm wlecome. We were given bottles of wine, use of kayaks and a boat launch. Fishing was great on average one crab and 15-20 prawns each night for dinner, We caught lots of cod the largest about 10lbs A highlight was an eagle dove down on us to take a small rock cod we just released. The best food was at the golf course, and Garden bay pub was a good 2nd choice The house was very comfortable and we had the quietest sleeps ever- not a sound outside at night

We had a wonderful peaceful stay here thankyou just what we were looking for with our 8 wk old and his 3 yr old brother We had fun exploring the beach & the dock & surrounding area Beautiful hike out to francis pennisula point in th epark along the road we'd highly recommend it our 3 yr old made it all the way there and back so its suitable for kids The weather was nice even though its mid november great all round

the view from your cottage is wonderful we would like to have taken advantage of the beach but it rained most of the time The cottage is well stocked and comfortable nice to have the internet on rainy days we had a lovely meal at the painted boat

We had a blast we only live in Egmont but came here anyway we know madeira park is capital of longboarding so we bought our longboards we found the cabin great when the tide came in on the beach we dived off the huge rock ( not recommended by owner)Frank It was a faboulous trip in such short notice Liam

We have a very large family but we managed well our oldest kids had the single beds and our youngest the double we met the people from next door we also have friends in Irving landing we all liked different things I liked the beach opposite my husband liked the golf course my 12 yr old liked everything all 3 of the rest of the kids liked everything also

We have had a wonderful time here in pender harbour Madeira park Hiking skookumchuck rapids kayaking in pender harbour swimming in katherine lake eating the best freshest fish Halibut we have ever eaten purchased at 'off the hook' this area is a peace of heaven here on earth Thankyou for your lovely cottage & hospitality we hope to come back again

We have been coming to bargain bay for 12 years and always enjoy ourselves The cottage really lived up to our expectations nice ocean view hours on the beach and kayaking the bay riding our bikes and watching the parade We are looking forward to coming back in July and swimming and fishing too Thanks a lot

We decided to spend a weekend in Pender Harbour and ended up renting this cabin. It's in a nice quiet area across the street from the beach. From the living room and the yard, there are nice views of the water. The driveway is long and there is ample parking space for multiple vehicles or boats. The cabin itself is neat and clean and has pretty much all the basic amenities you could want including books, games, wireless internet, TV, pots and pans, towels and soap/shampoo. We all loved it and can't wait to go back.

Recommended for:Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, romantic getaway.

We have had a wonderful time. Your cottage is perfect for a family we had a few days of rain but that didnt stop us from exploring the area and finding 'treasures' as our 4 yr old called every rock stick and sea shell he found We will defiantely be coming back to the area again

Even with a couple of days rain I can honestly say we would rather be here than there. Great setting very nice view the house has a very nice warm feel is nicely decorated for all we very much enjoyed our time at the rapids at the bakery tucked into the woods. A peaceful quiet neighbourhood for relaxing We had deer visit us from the woods a couple of times during the week. There are many nice areas to visit. Davis bay had the sandiest beaches but the cottage had the nicest views

What can we say? This place is absolute heaven we have thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The eagles at 4pm (ish) amazing the otters at 8am fantastic and the goldfish who peep out at dusk from under the lily pads how cute Thankyou so much see you next year

Thankyou so much for the use of your home. The weather was perfect for all outdoor activities, we swam and kayaked in salt and fresh water, hiked bird watched and relaxed, last night while kayaking we surprised a mama otter and her three babies, We enjoyed the hummingbird feeder and the lily ponds that attract all the neighbourhood birds. The hike out to skookumchuck rapids was great, dont miss the bakery on the road to the rapids trail to die for baked goods

While looking for a home after we emigrated to sunshine coast Canada, we stayed at the shores cottage from January 08 until april 08. The cottage is fully equipped for all your needs I have 3 boys 10,12,14,who enjoyed the beach combing, fishing at the dock and the safety of a beautiful quiet street. Could not have asked for more, great beds, best view I have seen so far. Home from home with all the comforts we could have wished for. Thankyou Lorraine & Steve we had a wonderful stay that made our move more enjoyable with minimum stress due to the beauty of the place and having all our needs catered for.
