My husband and I live in St. Louis and rented this house so we could enjoy spending time with our family who live in Rhode Island. We were also joined by a few other relatives who came from around the country, and Newport turned out to be the perfect place for a family reunion. We all enjoyed cooking in the spacious kitchen and grilling in the beautiful backyard. The house is nicely decorated, immaculate and has everything you can possibly need. The owners even purchased lobster pots for us. There were bikes for us to ride and several of us enjoyed walking into town. The nearby beaches are clean and, when we were there, they had just enough waves to body surf. In the evenings our family gathered around the dining room table for meals and some late night card games. We hope to have the opportunity to stay here again.

We were thrilled to find this gem of a house for our family when we came to Newport to celebrate our son's graduation from Naval OCS. We were so happy to find it neat, clean, nicely furnished and really well equipped. The house offered plenty of space and all the creature comforts! The beds were comfy, TVs plentiful, the location was great - not far from anything. Parking - which was at a premium throughout town - was plentiful....but most importantly the house had absolutely everything we needed. The outdoor shower was a big hit and freed up the inside full bath. If the house is available the next time we head to Newport we wouldn't hesitate a second to rent it again! Perfect!

We enjoyed the house very much!! The kitchen has been wonderfully updated with beautiful granite counter tops, all new appliances, new cabinets equiped with everything I have in my own kitchen! The living room has all new modern furniture and decor. Full bath is roomy and updated as well. Beds are VERY comfortable bedrooms are also very roomy. Enjoyed our stay very comfortable for my husband and I, my Mom and Dad and Mother-in-law to attend my daughters graduation. My mother-in-law was so impressed with the house and all the amenities! She kept complimenting me for finding this very special house for all of us.

Your little house was absolutely perfect for us for a Naval Officer Canditate Graduation. The upstairs loft was wonderful, especially with the newly added king size bed. It was a great place for my kids and 9 yr. old grandson. Downstairs was perfect for my husband and I in the back bedroom and my newly commissioned Ensign Grandson in the front bedroom. It was especially convenient due to the fact that it was less than 10 minutes to the Naval base as we traveled back and forth 10 - 12 times. Lovely kitchen, enjoyed cooking breakfast there, as well as coloring Easter eggs. Great basement. Bought and left a small baseball bat with rubber balls for the nine year old to do his little League practice in the yard. Your pictures here do not do it justice, as it is has many more amenities and is decorated with a beautiful discrete nautical theme. Newport was fabulous, did all of the mansions, and ate lobster every way imaginable. Thanks so much for having this Handsome little New England house!! AND I'm so glad we found it for our short 4 day stay. Wish it could have been longer.

The home was perfect for our weekend in April. It is newly renovated, very clean, with a warm, loving touch in every room. It had everything that we needed and then some. The owner was very pleasant, honest, and easy to work with. I would definitely recommend it. Thank You!

Our daughter did a great job when she found this "cottage". We had a great time and the convenience of the house, both inside & location just added to our fabulous time. Thank you for every little "special touch".

My wife, 2 daughters and I stayed for 6 weeks back in Spring of 2010. This house was outstanding, everything was as advertised. All the amenities were really nice. The owners were great to work with. I would highly recommend this house.

Although we usually stay here in the summer months, we had an equally great time staying here for Martin Luther King weekend in January. The house has everything for us and is so cozy & warm- we love the fireplace. We enjoyed a wonderful fireside dinner at Sardella's on Memorial Blvd and the kids loved ice skating at the Newport Yachting Center. There is always so much to do here. Thanks Darien, CT

This house is great! We played many games of wiffleball. The fence was perfect for homeruns! We liked the quiet neighborhood. Thanks for having everything here for us. We will definately come again. Can't wait!
