SUMMARY:
We have a beautiful and convienient lakefront location steps from the water on Skaha Lake with a well equiped 4 BR 3.5 bathroom modern "upscale" house with floating dock, mouring buoy (for your boat) and a sand beach (for the kids). The water is clear clean and weed free. It faces West over the water so you can watch the sunset. It is an awesome location and waterfront situation.

TRI-ATHLETES WE ARE BOOKED FOR IRON MAN 2012 and as per the details below, I DO NOT DO WEEKEND RENTALS - ONLY SATURDAY TO SATURDAY 7 DAY RENTALS. As per our Calendar, this house is booked for Iron Man 2012 and I will not respond to more requests - Thanks.
Also, the house is NOT available from September 5, 2011 through to June 15, 2012. I will not respond to requests for bookings during these periods.
PROPERTY OVERVIEW:
Modern contemporary and luxurious three level, LAKEFRONT HOUSE in the Okanagan. Private sandy beach, large deck and private floating dock with a level yard.
Large windows to provide a spectacular view. All the modern conveniences including high quality furnishings, leather sofas, wine cooler and air conditioning.
Relax on one of the two front decks overlooking the lake or dive off the dock for a swim. Enjoy the breathtaking view and soak up the Okanagan SUN! Modern clean décor and furnishing with comfortable beds will make your stay enjoyable.
The house is located a few feet from the lake so it is easy to dive in and cool off or to climb onto your favorite floating mattress or chair. It is a five to seven minute drive to Penticton. The Penticton main beach on Skaha lake is minutes away.
The house has four bedrooms, three and a half bathrooms, with two separate living room areas - 2400 square feet.
Penticton tourist attractions such as the canal between Lake Okanagan and Skaha Lake, water slides, go karts, mini golf, horse-back riding, tennis, beach volleyball courts are all a very short drive away and close by.
Award winning Penticton and Naramata wineries and great golf are in the neighborhood. Osoyoos and Kelowna are both less than 1/2 hour drives.
Lake and yard access is from the lower level of the house. There is a short flight of stairs down to the gradually sloping sandy beach which is ideal for children.
This three level vacation home can sleep eight people very comfortably. We allow a maximum of six adults (older than 18) or four adults and up to four children (younger that 18). We can make some exceptions for the appropriate type of groups. It is great spot for up to three couples or two small families. The home could accommodate more, but we do not generally allow groups larger than eight and prefer a maximume of six adults.
The house is close to the Wineries in Naramata, Oliver, Summerland, Penticton and the Okanagan Falls. Centrally located to all the top south Okanagan wineries such as Blasted Church, Jackson Triggs, Noble Ridge, Dirty Laundry, Desert Hills, Burrowing Owl, Lakebreeze, Kettle Valley, Etc. We have openings in June and September which are ideal for wine-tasting and Golf.
To all potential clients - we ONLY do SATURDAY TO SATURDAY RENTALS in JULY and AUGUST - sorry no exceptions - please don't send me a request for other dates in July and August as I can't accommodate you...

Why the Owner Chose Penticton
We rented a house on Kalamalka Lake in the North Okanagan for 10 years before buying a lakefront property. We were tired of old crappy beds and ugly shag carpet etc.. This house on Skaha Lake has everything we wanted when we were renting - a well set up and nicely appointed interior with great views of the lake, a good bedroom set up, nice comfortable beds, a great waterfront location, a great beach and dock set up, clean clear weed free water and close to all that Penticton has to offer.....

We (4 adults and 4 kids) have stayed at this house for the past 4 years and keep coming back! It is an excellent location (right on the lake) and the kids love to fish off the dock and swim in the water. The house has an ideal set up for two families with a bedroom/bathroom/living room in the basement (ground level) and three bedrooms/2 bathrooms on the upstairs level. Skaha Beach is also only a quick 7 minute walk from the house and has an amazing children's playground and ice cream shop! The house is very well taken care of and the owner is a great guy (extremely helpful and responsive to any questions/concerns).
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, families with young children.

Enjoyed a great stay here with another family for a total of 4 adults and 5 kids. Terrific lake access with gentle slope so kids can play easily. Nice balcony off dining area. Close to Skaha Lake marina, beaches, fruit stands, shopping. Also just a short drive to many wineries. Owner very good to deal with.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, families with young children.
