Wonderful beach house feel with 20 foot A-frame ceilings on the second floor and natural wood interior. The large open second floor is good for just relaxing or hanging out with a group of people. Large new kitchen with two refrigerators and all utensils. Beautiful new wood-burning fireplace. Internet access and digital cable.
Kitchen opens to a second floor deck with great views of the ocean and bay. Large rear deck ideal for get togethers or just sunbathing.
First floor includes three bedrooms and two baths. Large master bedroom has private bath and a sleeping extension with bunk beds and a queen-size bed. Brand new bed in Master (Nov 2011). Middle Bathroom renovated in spring 2011.

We have three boys, ages 12, 8 and 4 and love the ocean. Also a chocolate lab named Stax.
Why the Owner Chose Dewey Beach
We are native Delawareans and love the beach. This place is fabulous for all - kids, adults, etc. with lots of open air restaurants and bars within walking distance. The bay and ocean are beautiful.
The Unique Benefits of this House
Huge open kitchen/FR area that is wonderful for entertaining or hanging out. Awesome views to both ocean and bay. Super close to ocean...easy back and forth. Brand new queen bed in master. Many restaurants walkable.

We've just returned from an absolutely amazing time at this Dewey Beach destination. We could not have asked for a better location -- steps from a pristine, beautiful beach; plenty of restaurants within easy walking distance; amazing ocean AND bay views; convenient trolley to nearby Rehoboth Beach. What more could you want? The accomodations were clean, comfortable, spacious and bright. Our family had a wonderful time and would definitely stay here again.
Recommended for:Pet owners, girls getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers.

This house is clean, comfortable, and convenient. We brought our standard poodle and took her to the beach every morning and evening, a VERY short walk. Standing in the big kitchen you can see the bay from one window and the ocean from the other. Easy walk to all the restaurants, bars, and the trolley to Rehoboth. Loved the private outdoor shower. First time we did VRBO, owner was considerate through the entire process. Can't wait to return!
Recommended for:Tourists without a car, pet owners, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

This house was perfect for our family vacation this year! It is a great house that is a VERY short walk to the beach. The open layout was comfortable for our family of 9. The house had a wonderful beach decor and the large decks were enjoyed by all!
