Beautiful Chalet Style cottage with large deck & great views of the waterfront
Location: Chemong Lake, Kawartha Lakes, Ontario, Canada (1.5 hrs from Toronto, 5m to Bridgenorth, 10m to Lakefield)
Accommodations: Waterfront Chalet Cottage, 4 Bedrooms + Loft, 1 Bath (Sleeps 12)
Selwyn Shores started as a three-bedroom house and there was an addition later added to extend it with a large sunken family room facing the lake, a fourth bedroom and a large upstairs loft.
It is a flat open lot, treed on both sides for privacy. Lot is 100 ft wide and has a fire pit for campfires. The private treed driveway has a large area in driveway for parking.
It has a natural sandy cribbed shoreline that is two feet deep at entry. The dock is approximately two feet to start and four feet deep at end and you can fish from it. Excellent local fishing. Fish for Bass, Carp, Walleye, and Muskie - catch fish right off the dock! Boat launch at end of Selwyn Road. Perfect for boats & sea-doos - rentals available in Bridgenorth. Great for small children.
Four Bedrooms and One Loft for Sleeping:
1. Upstairs Master Bedroom - Queen bed, Walk out to balcony
2. Upstairs Second Bedroom - Two beds - one Queen & one Double
3. Main level Bedroom - Double bed
4. Second main level Bedroom (in the Addition)- Double Bed
5. Large Upstairs Loft in Addition - 2 Queen bed beds & one single
Large Spacious Living Area in Addition - Three couches, additional chairs & plenty of floor space & floor cushions. 27 inch TV, DVD, VCR, CD & Stereo in Family Room area. Loft directly above Living Room. Some videos, boardgames & books/magazines to borrow.
Full kitchen with dining area - Seats up to ten persons. Walk-out of kitchen to large deck with additional seating areas & BBQ.
Replaced entire bathroom in 2005 - New toilet, surround tub/shower & pedestal sink. New washer & dryer.
It has three decks:
1. Master bedroom balcony (Brand new upper balcony)
2. Walk-out from Kitchen/Dining area (Brand new large deck with BBQ, faces lake, patio furniture)
3. Back deck, Large with patio furniture
Conveniently located on Chemong Lake between lock 31 and 32 of Trent-Severn System - boat to anywhere on Kawarthas system. Bring your boat as dockage and launch is available at property.

End of June-Sept $1800/week (High Season) Saturday to Saturday rental only.
Current availability in June 27-July 3; July 18 to July 25; and August 15 on.
Additional availability in fall & winter.
Rates are in Canadian Dollars and no other fees apply.
Oct-May .. $250/night (Low Season) 2 night minimum.
