Sit back and relax in front of oversized windows framing incredible views of the San Francisco Peaks. Located on the desirable west side of town, our house is two minutes from some of the best hiking and biking trails in the area, yet only five minutes from downtown Flagstaff and ten minutes from NAU. The designer decorated home features comfortable bedrooms, a gourmet kitchen, and tons of space for the whole family. Parks, the Museum of Northern Arizona, and trails are all in walking distance. We provide maps of mountain bike and hiking trails, local information, and sightseeing and restaurant recommendations.
Use our home as a base for wonderful adventures or enjoy simply soaking in the views. You'll find yourself delightfully cool in the summer (elevation over 7000 feet). In the winter enjoy the fact that the entrance to Snowbowl is only three miles away. Stay once and you'll understand why this is such a special getaway for our family.
The home sleeps 7-8 persons with four bedrooms: Master bedroom with king bed; Bedroom Two with a king bed; Bedroom Three with two twins; and Bedroom Four with a twin bed and twin trundle beneath.

This roomy, two-story "Peak View" home was the perfect “home away from home” for this bear’s Flagstaff vacation!
It was a “beary” comfortable home with a large kitchen and dining area. There was a spacious deck off the kitchen for outdoor dining. Both the deck and back yard had a spectacular view of the Peaks and the fully fenced yard included a wonderful play area for the little bear cubs in our clan.
The downstairs living room had space for relaxing, a game closet, many books and a flat screen TV. The room’s giant windows overlooked majestic views of the Peaks mountain range. Downstairs featured a large master bedroom, spacious closet, and full bath. Upstairs, there were three bedrooms and an extra bathroom with a futon in the loft for additional sleeping or playing.
Peak View was just off of Historic Route 66 and less than 10 minutes from NAU - Northern Arizona University. It’s perfect for any family who wishes to visit the campus and a good base for Northern Arizona sightseeing. The home is also a few short minutes from the Snowbowl ski area, biking & hiking trails, downtown Flagstaff and only an hour’s drive to the Grand Canyon.

This is the perfect family rental - comfortable, plenty of space, a very well appointed kitchen with everything you might need to cook family meals and store picnic lunches. We were a party of 6 adults and two children under 4 years. The toys in the living room cupboard were very much appreciated by our young children and the adults enjoys the stunning views of Mount Humphrey and of course the WIFI access! The beds were very comfortable and the provisions of shampoo, conditioner and shower gel were very much appreciated. The house is located in a quiet, safe neighbourhood with a playground close by and the Museum of Northern Arizona just 5 minutes drive away - very much worth a visit! If you're looking to buy a Katsina or a Navajo rug, the museum has one of the best selections around and the staff are very knowledgeable. Flagstaff is a nice town and well located for exploring Sedona, Grand Canyon, Walnut Canyon, Montezuma Castle and Meteor Crater to name a few sights. The property is clean and well maintained but has a certain 'lived-in' feeling that made it comfortable.Owner response: So glad that you enjoyed your time at our house. We love the neighborhood too and think the Museum of Northern Arizona is a real jewel.

Our family shared Peak View as we celebrated our grand-daughter's Junior Recital at NAU and it was the perfect home for us, becoming the hub of all of the activities. It was close but not TOO close to town and very quiet. The kitchen was large enough for us to invite family who were staying at a motel in town to join our group for dinner one night. There were 10 of us for dinner that night and so many of the rental homes don't have enough dining or cooking/serving space for this kind of gathering and often not even for the number of people that they will sleep. Peak View has a really large dining table with an island for serving. It also has a well stocked kitchen with every implement you could possibly need and a large living area with lots of seating for visiting, a real plus! The weather was a little cool for us to take advantage of the outdoor amenities, like the BBQ and table, but it's all there :) A couple of the guys even played Ping-Pong in the garage for a couple of hours and we saw that there were bicycles to go riding if someone were so inclined. There were many trails for walking or hiking nearby and some of the family took advantage of those. The property is well cared for and Becky is very responsive. We would stay at Peak View again and would certainly recommend it to friends and relatives.Owner response: So glad your time in Flagstaff went well. We welcome you back any time!

A very well maintained comfortable home. Nice big kitchen and dining area. Nice views and quiet neighbors. Quiet street, good for walks and a nice running trail. The house was warm and the beds were comfy. We had fun with the ping pong table in the garage. Becky was very good to deal with. Exceptionally responsive and professional. One of the best VRBO experiences we've had. We did day trips to Sedona, the Grand Canyon and the Nordic Center and enjoyed wandering around the old section of Flagstaff.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.
Owner response: Thanks Jennifer. Glad you had a good time. You were easy to work with as well.

We took a weekend trip up north with another family for the North Pole Experience. This house was clean and very comfortable for 4 adults and 4 kids. The fenced backyard was great to let the kids go outside and play in the snow. Great location, just a few minutes from town and from Snow bowl for sledding. Would recommend this location - we will definitely be back.Recommended for: Families with young children.
Owner response: Glad your trip was great. Always awesome to play in the snow. Hope to see you again.

my family and i just wrapped up a vacation to flagstaff, az last week. there were five of us, two young boys, one thirty-something, and two sixty-somethings and this place suited all of our needs. the boys had tons of room to run up and down the stairs and the two older grown ups could enjoy a master bedroom on the first floor. the house is thoughtfully set up by the owner, which just adds to the comfort. there are grocery stores close by and it's just far enough away from downtown to get away from the crowds. it's a great location to visit the grand canyon, sedona, slide rock, williams, lowell observatory, snow bowl, and discover tons of hikes. everything in the house works, the deck is fantastic for drinking coffee while watching the sunrise over the mountains. overall, it's a great place to wake up and a comforting place to come "home" to at night.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.
Owner response: Thanks Lisa. Glad that you and your family enjoyed your trip to Arizona. We love sitting on the deck and looking at the mountain too.

My family and I (1 teenager, 1 toddler and 4 adults) stayed here in March for our daughter's spring break. We were wowed, by the little touches done by the owner. There was a pac and play for little ones, and toys and books for them, grill, nice yard and the kitchen had most any appliance you could need, to include a crock pot! If ever we are back in the area, we will be sure to book our stay here. Hopefully, next time the snow will come while we are there and not when we leave. :-)Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

This is a very charming home with a great location! The living room furniture was very comftorable and the beautiful kitchen was stocked with everything we needed! The kids loved the playset in the backyard, the toy closet and the "frogs" in the upstairs bathroom. This was the perfect home to use as our homebase between Sedona and The Grand Canyon. Downtown and many hiking trails are close by as well! The weather was perfect, we even had snow one day, which was a surprise! We will definitey be back!! Becky was great to work with and always replied to my emails in a timely manner!! Thanks again Becky for letting us borrow your beautiful home. The house was very charming and lived up perfectly to the billing on the site. The mattresses were a little firm to our liking, but after a day of exploring all that Northern Arizona had to offer it didn't cause any problems falling asleep. The kitchen was well equiped for our needs and stocked with cleaners and paper goods so we didn't need to spend money on those. The grill had gas and was ready to go and our son loved playing on the swings in the backyard. One morning as I sipped my coffee I watched a woodpecker attack the aspen tree! The location was also ideally suited to our trips to the canyon, meteor crater, sunset crater, anetlope canyon, petrified forest, oak creek canyon, Sedona and the Lowell Observatory. The longest drive was a little over two hours so that worked out perfectly. It is also situated on the edge of Flagstaff so it is very peaceful at night. I would recommend getting up a little early one morning and heading west on 180 about 16 miles to the watchable wildlife trail - we were too slow moving to see as much as we'd hoped but it was a nice short trail. Finally, the arrangements were all professionally handled even though all communication was done via email. Questions were promptly answered, contracts clear and above all every time I was told something would happen it was done on time and properly (if only everyone I dealt with followed through half as well!) I cannot recommend this place enough!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, families with young children.
Owner response: Thanks Mark. So glad you enjoyed your trip out West.

About the owner: We love being outdoors in Flagstaff.
Why the Owner Chose Flagstaff:
Northern Arizona is so special with its mountains, pines, and four seasons. Flag is a wonderful, laid-back town. It's a college town so there are lots of cultural activities and plenty of good restaurants. We can enjoy an amazing variety of scenery within an hour of our house, including the Grand Canyon, Navajo Nation, and Sedona. Mountain biking and hiking are two of our passions and Flag is the best spot in Arizona for those pursuits.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
Our house has fantastic views of the San Francisco Peaks. It is also quite large and comfortable, with a back patio that can seduce you for hours. If you want to hike or bike, you can access great trails within a mile of our house or even go into Flag's fun downtown on the urban trail.
