  It’s not often that actuality is better than the photos when it comes to holiday rentals… I’ve stayed in many villas across Florida and this was our first trip to Cape Coral. This was by far the best villa I have ever stayed in – in Florida, or around Europe. The booking process was very easy and questions to Steve were responded to instantly. The décor and appliances were modern and of very good quality. The master bedroom and bathroom were simply amazing. Likewise the living area, kitchen and other rooms were of an equal standard. As you go outside the villa you’re presented with a beautiful pool, hot tub, ample outside space with BBQ and all of this area provides views of the canal and boat ‘Juicy Lucy.’ We decided to hire the boat to complement our stay and she was great fun! Captain Bob visited on our first morning to provide an orientation of both the boat and the area. He was very informative providing some great detail for our stay. Watching the dolphins en-route to Cabbage Key was a definite highlight. If you’re looking to try something different on your vacation another highlight was taking a ‘Discovery Flying Lesson,’ from Page Field airport with Paragon Flight Training School. This provided some great views of the surrounding area and the impressive canal system Cape Coral offers. The villa is within walking distance to Publix and other amenities such as Papa John’s and a local bar. A popular destination for tourists and locals was ‘Rumrunners.’ This was only a short drive or boat ride away and they provide some great views of the boats arriving and departing the canal system. It takes roughly 35 minutes to reach ‘Rumrunners’ by boat. As everything was perfect upon arrival we had no reason to interact with the management company during our stay, but during checkout they were very courteous. We flew to Orlando Intl then boarded an internal flight with Southwest to Ft Myers Airport. This was a fairly cheap and short flight and the driving distance from Ft Myers Airport to ‘Blue Waters,’ was a mere 30 minutes. I would definitely recommend Cape Coral and especially this villa to all my friends, family & colleagues. PS – It was great to be in a villa which offers wireless Internet at a very fast speed and pool / spa heat which you can really feel!

  The 'Waterfront luxury' description for this villa certainly does it justice. When we arrived our jaws dropped when we saw how much space and how clean and well presented it was. It was literally like stepping into five star accommodation. It is really well equipped, it has everything you need and more, including fishing rods, mountain bikes and beach towels, plus a really well equipped kitchen. The pool and jacuzzi was fantastic. As we had the pool heater on, it was like stepping into bath water. Really pleasant! Steve, the owner was really helpful throughout, from the moment we booked right through to when we were in the villa and back home again. We had hired Steve's boat, which needed some repairs whilst we we out there, so Steve sorted us an alternative all the way from being back in the UK, which was much appreciated. There is also a local management company that are helpful, so we had assurance that if any problem did occur with the villa, it would be sorted. We chose this villa in Cape Coral as we wanted to see the more relaxed side of Florida, rather than the hustle and bustle of Orlando and the theme parks. We certainly got that, Cape Coral is a boaters paradise and is a haven for wildlife. I'd certainly recommend hiring a boat. Its given me a mermorable experience. We saw dolphins, bald eagles and there are also plenty of manatees. Great for fishing too! There aren't really any beaches in Cape Coral, but about a 30 min car journey takes you onto Sanibel Island which has beautiful white sandy beaches with palm trees. We loved it there! There are also lots of restaurants in Cape Coral, most of which are a 10 - 15 minute car ride away. Or favourite was Bonefish Grill, really good seafood! And within walking distance to the villa, there is a Publix supermarket. My family and I loved this villa, we have stayed in quite a few villas, and this is the nicest and most luxurious by far!! Thank you Steve, your villa helped make our holiday memorable!!

  Our family had the most wonderful and comfortable stay and Villa Blue Waters! The owner was nothing but a pleasure to do business with and the management company and boat captain followed suit! Everything went absolutely smooth from start of booking through our stay and finishing with checking out. The pictures truly do not give this home justice! It is beautiful and impeccably maintained. It is by far the best equipped and the cleanest vacation home we have ever stayed in! The owners have truly thought of everything to ensure their guest are taken care of. And the boat is wonderful, worth the extra money! Our family is sure to return! And I have already recommended this home to friends and family. Thank you so very much for opening your home up to our family we look forward to a return visit again soon.

  Can honestly say this is one of the best villas I have been to. The location is fantastic and decor unusual and attractive. The ensuite in the master is bigger than my lounge at home. The pool has a dark granite style bas. Either sit poolside or by the tiki bar on the dock and watch the fish jump out of the water and the turtles swimming - wonderful. Rumrunners restaurant (3 minutes drive) and Lobster lady 5 minute walk, provide really good food, but would recommend booking. All in all would definitely go here again. Thanks for having us.

  ...I was expecting it be to be pretty darn good. The villa is easy to get into (via a door entry code) and was absolutely spotless. The beds were comfortable, the air conditioning worked, the pool was warm, the TV is ENORMOUS and the neighbours were quiet. I would recommend this to anyone and I'm very fussy!

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers.

  Had a great vacation at this lovely home. South facing aspect means that pool area got the first rays of sun from around 7.30am and lasted until dusk. Very well equipped and spacious. The boat was very enjoyable and reasonably priced. Nearest publix and shops only 2 minutes away. Palmetto Pines country club 10 minutes away- excellent golf course for $55 inc buggy. Nice quiet neighbourhood with nice restaurants nearby. Have stayed in many homes in the area and this is one of the nicest. Pool area is a little slippy as the tiles are gloss, but the villa is superb.

  This was our first holiday away with my sister and her husband so we hoped this would be a special time and it was. Villa Bluewaters had everything we needed, fully equipped kitchen, wonderful lounge and bedrooms, terrific showers and lovely linen. We spent many happy hours in the pool and cooking on the bbq. Evening drinks on the jetty slowly letting the world go by our men even caught fish........frightened the life out of us. We took the boat out a couple of days and that was fun, we went to cabbage key and put our dollar on the board. We were also able to cycle when my sister went for her run so that was a bonus to find the bikes in the garage, everything is there for u to enjoy and we did. The natives were very friendly and we felt quite at home, we also had time for drives to Sanibel , Fort Myers and of course a little shopping. Thanks to Steves brilliant e-mails before the hols we were able to find beaches, restaurants and shopping facilities easily . Must mention the Publix fish counter it was awesome for the BBQ just a short walk away or bike ride...... If you go you just cannot fail have a good time. Looking forward to having another holiday at Villa Bluewaters in the very near future. Thanks Steve and Evonne for getting it just right. The Sansom and Evans Party

  We expected, from the advertised description of this property, a comfortable holiday let.....what we got far exceeded our expectations. You walk in and feel immediately at home, in a beautiful place. The owners of BlueWaters Steve & Yvonne have thought of everything you could possibly need for a wonderful holiday. For us, it would have been all to easy just stay put, swim in the pool, drinks under the Tiki Hut watching the Flying Fish in the Canal, BBQ and then watch the sun go down, Utter Bliss. We did pull ourselves away...so much to see and do. First night a meal at "Lobster Lady" - within walking distance of the house - if you like Fish you'll love it, we all ordered a differnt meal and every one delicious...so do go. Next night, Just a little further away Monkey's Bar & Grill - don't be put off by first impressions - the food was exelent plus live entertainment, we had great evening there too. Cape Coral Beach is just a short distance away. We spent day's out to Venice, Naples, Fort Meyers and Miami Beaches but always back to the wonderful peace and comfort of BlueWaters, with late swim and laze in the Spa. We are already planning our next stay which will include the Boat "Juicy Lucy" , our only regret is not booking the boat this time!

  We have been renting homes around the country from Homeaway.com for the past 10 years and have enjoyed all of them, even returning to a few for second and third stays. But I must say our whole family agrees that our time this April at Blue Waters is by far the best of them all. We have shown our pictures to our friends and they can tell from the expressions on our faces and the impeccable beauty (even better than the on-line photos) of this home that we were having the time of our life. Our friends all want to know more information about Blue Waters. We can’t wait to return next year and our making plans now. Working with the owners, the Steve and Evonne Butler and the local property manager was a real pleasure and I look forward to be doing it again. Another strong positive about Blue Waters is its location, less than a 1/2 mile from great shopping, Publix, and all the other support stores and restaurants these shopping complexes bring. But at the same time very little traffic and still in a residential area. I could go on about how great this place is, but I think if you have your vacation here you would join with all of us who have and say this place is just wonderful. Tom & Sandy

  As party of 5 we had an absolutely fabulous week at this villa which is a real home from home, equipped with everything you could possibly need, especially in the kitchen. The villa itself is spacious and well furnished with a simply superb Master Suite with Super King bed, jacuzzi bath and double walk in shower. Lovely pool area overlooking the canal and Tikki Bar and of course there is the boat which enables to got out to go out and explore this beautiful area. The orientation is a must - this boat is beautiful but don't under estimate the need to know how to handle it safely Steve is a pleasure to deal with and the booking process seamless and informative from start to finish. Any questions are always answered promptly by return e-mail and Steve cannot do enough to help make your stay as enjoyable as possible. The Boat Captain's John and Bob were both extremely pleasant and helpful. Capt John even changed his schedule for us to enable the orientation to take place a day earlier so that visiting family could join us. They were also extremely accommodating when we decided to book the boat for an extra day as we enjoyed it so much. We loved being able to get to Captiva, Sanibel and Cabbage Key on the boat seeing the Dolphins and having some great lunches. The January weather was kind and temperate - high 70s - low 80's - a good time to come I could go on and on but safe to say we will be back - for 2 weeks next time!! Thank you Steve and Yvonne for a brilliant week. The Horsefields, Hills and Gooch party.
