The Village of Gentle Slopes is located just outside of the town of Laurie, on the 3.5 mile marker of the Gravois Arm. Take blacktop roads, through flat, safe lake roads all the way to your doorstep. Start unwinding in one of our four amazing rustic lodges by spending a romantic weekend try the Buffalo with the Jacuzzi tub, and the indoor/outdoor fireplace which sleeps 8, or bring the whole family down to the Elk or the Cedar which have room for 12, that way you can all find your own private escape. Let the kids play up in their own bunk with equipped with multi use foosball table, big screen TV, and singing karaoke deer. Regardless of where you stay, you will have chosen the right spot.
Cedar Lodge Specs:
Main Level: An extra spacious dining area featuring a gorgeous stone fireplace, rustically furnished kitchen, all accented with stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and knotty pine hardwoods. Also a king size log bed accommodates the hosts in their private romantic bedroom and bath.
Lower Level: Deal the cards in the perfect nighttime entertainment area, and then drift off into one of the two cozy queen size beds in their private rooms. Also crash on the couch or belly up to the bar, whatever your pleasure you will find something to please you after strolling in from a long day in the sun and fun!
Bonus: The kids will love their own huge bunk room equipped with: multi use foosball table, big screen TV, and singing karaoke deer. There will be room for 6 to sleep comfortably, so relax and let them play!
Outdoor Amenities: 28-34 ft. boat slip available just a few steps out your door, fire pit, swim dock, blacktop walking trail, hammock, all with NO STEPS!
Other: new in 2006, 2 car/truck garage, very close boat ramp, boat rental that will bring it to the dock for you, miles of private walking paths.
