Beautifully decorated this home provides both indoor and outdoor living in a lovely setting. For the 2010 season starting on June 1, there will be a solar heated inground pool 16 ft X 32 ft with a cabana area including a half bath. The pool is for the exclusive use of the guests residing at 23 Jennie Lane which includes the main house as well. Rental of the entire compound ensures private use of the pool. The stone patio with barbecue, the wooden deck with hot tub and outdoor shower are the perfect answer for those marvelous Vineyard days and nights.
The sunroom/porch offers a bright and cheerful spaciousness regardless of the time of year or weather.

Why the Owner Chose Edgartown
My sister was very influential in our decision to buy our Martha's Vineyard property. As a real estate agent on the island she found a perfect spot and we both bought our three acres each and began to fulfill our dreams. After nine years we have both reached our goals and now have our guest house, main house and studio properties. It is here that we will retire and enjoy our island getaway

My husband Bill and I bought the property on the Island as out eventual retirement home. I have been a school librarian and Bill is an international business consultant. We have four grown children and two wonderful grandsons. We hope to have our island home house many family get togethers in the future.

To the Kennedys, We have truly enjoyed our stay at your home! What a great house - the design is perfect. Everything is so well thought out. The Homeport was great! We went to Long Point twice, East Beach twice, State Beach almost every day, and, of course, South Beach. Grace Church is the best place for lobster rolls. We shouldn't have gone to Murdicks as much as we did, bu we enjoyed that also. As much as anything we enjoyed coming back to this beautiful house to relax. Thank you.

Thank you so much for the use of your house. It is a beautiful setting and decorated so pretty. We visited the little towns and took your suggestions for hikes and beaches. The kids had lots of fun at the beaches and found rocks and shells. We are from California and we had no idea the island was so wooded and dense. Martha's Vineyard's little towns were so cute and we loved the white house with green or black shutters. Very quaint! We have a Mayhew descendant as a friend from Davis CA, a photographer.
