    • Jim and Marie, What better way to say how much we loved our stay at Bear Creek cabin than to already have made reservations for next August!! The setting is peaceful and beautiful (the gardens add much to that), and the cabin made us feel right at home. It also accommodated our son and his wife and their two little girls very nicely for the several days they were with us. And with another son living in Bozeman, the proximity is a huge plus. The furnishings in the cabin are attractive and exceptionally comfortable, and the kitchen worked very well for "visiting while cooking". Even the wildlife cooperated in supplying an endless show, the deer family with two little ones, the wild turkeys, and an industrious woodpecker right outside the kitchen window, to name just a few. We loved every minute in this gorgeous setting and feel that you two have the perfect place for us to return to year after year. So, thank you, thank you, David and Bean Granger

The wildlife around the property was really a blessing. The fresh air, beautiful trees, flowers and wonderful breezes really made our vacation a relaxing experience. I highly recommend this property to anyone who likes a home like atmosphere for their precious time away! Blessings, Bill and Michelle Breedlove

    • Jim & Marie, We stayed at your cabin June 12th thru June 21st 2009. What a great place you have!!! What can we say that hasn’t already been said? Your (pet friendly) cabin, with all it amenities and location made our vacation one of the best vacations we’ve ever had. For us it was close to family and close to the sights we wanted to see. I know there are a lot of things that we didn’t see and we are already planning next year’s vacation at your cabin. The beautiful setting you have just outside of town made for an enjoyable relaxing vacation. Coming back from a day of sightseeing and relaxing in the hot tub is the best way to enjoy a vacation. Please feel free to use us as a reference for future guests. Thanks again and we look forward to seeing you next year. The Himes’ Rich, Jan, Nick Thunder & Copper

Hello Jim and Marie, Our stay at your cabin was fantastic and we are certain to return. We searched and searched for the perfect place and yours stood out as the only one that had everything we were looking for: authentic log cabin nestled in the woods with a crackling fire and a hot tub. Being located so close to Bozeman was a real bonus. The web site looked great but we were impressed when we arrived to see it was even better than the pictures posted on VRBO. We loved the way you decorated and noticed your attention to the smallest of details and especially appreciated the bear theme! Baths were well stocked with high quality soaps and shampoos and the softened water made for a luxurious shower. The bedroom had such nice sheets and a very comfortable mattress; the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed and there was a bookshelf with current brochures of any activity one could want from Tours of Yellowstone to skiing at Bridger Bowl. A flock of wild turkeys strutted past our window every morning and white tail deer were abundant. Best of all, it was incredibly quiet and the perfect place to relax! I had hoped to post these comments on VRBO but they don’t make it easy to navigate their web site. Please feel free to use any of this on your comment page. Thank you for your incredible hospitality. • Jim and Marie, Thank you so much for the use of your beautiful mountain cabin. We just got back from our wonderful Christmas holiday staying at Bear Creek Cabin. Our 16 hour winter drive from Wisconsin to Montana was cold and brutal. What a welcome we received with the warm twinkling Christmas lights and fire burning in the fireplace. The first thing Greg said was it was worth it!! Christmas Day we enjoyed a huge family hike in the National Forrest and then spent the day in the hot tub with the fantastic view till we were prunes. Your place is very special and we will always remember our time spent there. You are wonderful hosts!! Thank you. • Marie and Jim, Thank you for providing us the best vacation we have had in years. Of course we enjoyed exploring exploring Yellowstone, the Museum of the Rockies, the gorgeous scenery of Montana, and the turbulent rivers and waterfalls. But to be able to come home to your wonderful cabin after a day on the road was very welcome. All the amenities, the super-comfortable bed, the ability to cook our own meals, inside or out, and a place to do some serious "sitting around" if that was what appealed to us, left nothing to be desired. Our two weeks passed far too quickly. It was truly a home away from home. We hope to be back. Bette and Art Jewett Cloverdale, CA

Quotes From Bear Creek Log Cabin Guestbook: August 15, 2007 We have had a great nine days in your wonderful cabin. We have enjoyed fishing, bird hunting and Yellowstone while based here. Bozeman is a great area and the calm provided at Bear Creek Log Cabin made the evenings just as pleasant as the activity-packed days. We hope to see you again in the near future. Gary and Linda M. Cedar Hill, Texas August 30, 2007 We have been to fifteen countries around the world, and have not had a better time in my life. This is a five star cabin in my book. We really wanted to go to some beach for our honeymoon, sure glad we picked here instead! I hope we can return for our anniversary. Perfect place! Kelly and Jenny C. Atlanta, Georgia July 10, 2007 We had a great week here at Bear Creek Log Cabin. Fished four rivers, hiked Grotto Falls, saw the Museum of the Rockies, floated the Yellowstone, and caught the rodeo in Lvingston. What a week! Your cabin was the perfect spot, and so well equipped and supplied. All the comforts of home! A sweet place to come home to after a day of fishing, hiking, and exploring. Thanks for being home for a wonderful Montana vacation! Jon and Angela S. Valley Head, Alabama P.S. Forgot to mention the deer that stopped by daily for breakfast, and the flock of six wild turkeys on the patio! We didn't see the mountain lion, though. July 20, 2007 Thank you, thank you, thank you! We fell in love with the cabin online but the reality was so much better than we ever dreamed. You have done an incredible job with this place. We thoroughly enjoyed hiking the National Forest trails (skip Yellowstone and discover the Gallatin Forest!). It is so peaceful here at the cabin. we loved the hot tup under the amazing stars. Just wish that we could stay forever! We hope to be back. Thanks again for everything! Nancy and Glenna Skokie, Illinois

Thank you for taking the time to comment on your stay at Bear Creek Log Cabin. The guest book in the Cabin is full now from the last two years from happy visitors, but, it is nice for folks browsing the internet, to get the impressions first hand from previous guests. SO, THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR TAKING YOUR TIME TO DO THIS! :)

    • We just returned from 6 nights at Bear Creek Log Cabin and all I can see is that we want to go back!!! We fell in love with the cabin on VRBO but the reality was so much more than we ever dreamed. The cabin is so comfortable and cozy and outfitted with everything you could possibly need. We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub under the incredible stars, fires in the fireplace watching DVD's on the plasma screen TV, thoroughly relaxing on the wonderful leather couches. Cooking was a real pleasure in the super kitchen. We splurged in staying there just 2 of us but it was worth every penny and then some. We definitely plan to go back. Very convenient to Bozeman and to incredible hiking trails in the Gallatin National Forest. Jim and Marie are wonderful hosts- extremely helpful and responsive yet not intrusive. They obviously have put a huge amount of work into the cabin and it shows. Every little detail was perfect. Thank you so much, Jim and Marie! We will return.
