    I held my small, intimate wedding here this past weekend. It was the perfect venue to have my wedding, and my guests that stayed the night absolutely loved the themed rooms! Having people come visit from all over and being able to rest comfortably, and also have a fantastic time was top on my list. This place was a excellent choice and I highly recommend it!

    Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car.

    This place was off the charts! We used it for our basketball team retreat and it was amazing. It served it's purpose to the utmost. The view was incredible and the weather was perfect! There was plenty of space and functionality and it made for a great weekend. Very convenient to stores, restaurants, but yet far enough away to experience the peace and quiet that we were looking for. We used the pool and the fire pit. There were grills and plenty of cooking space in the kitchen. The theater room was awesome and we were able to show a highlight film of our practices. Great!! Awesome place!

    The pictures of this amazing house do not do it justice. It's so roomy that everyone can find a quiet place to read or nap while others can play games, play music, or watch movies, but everyone is still close enough that they dont miss anything. It was great that everyone had their own bed (no pull out couches or blow up matresses). Our favorite part of the house is the dining room table! We rarely all get to eat together! I had my wedding there that week and have gotten sooo many compliments on how beautiful and peaceful the setting was. I could not have asked for a better wedding week! The owners are so helpful and sweet, we will definitely be back for more one day!!

    EXCELLENT HOUSE FOR FAMILY VACATION AND GET TOGETHER . EASY TO GET TO EVEN WHEN SET BACK IN GEORGIA WOODS.A SHORT DRIVE FROM INTERSTATE 20. WILL HOLD AND ACCOMODATE GROUPS OF 20 + WITH EASE. HOUSE IS WELL LAYED OUT TO ALLOW PARTYING AND SLEEPING AT SAME TIME .LARGE SPACIOUS YARD FOR OUTSIDE GAMES AND ACTIVITIES. GOOD SHOPPING AT PUBLIX, WALMART, OR INGALS WITHIN 30 MINUTES DRIVE.SEVERAL FAMILY RESTUARANTS WITHIN 30 MINUTES THAT CAN ACCOMODATE A LARGE GROUP.SOME GOOD GOLF COURSES THAT ARE OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. FISHING IS FUN FOR BIG GUYS AND SMALL FRYS. FUN SWIMMING POOL FOR ADULTS AND KIDS. ONLY NEGATIVE IS NOT GOOD PART OF LAKE FOR BOATING OR SKIING. TOO SHALLOW AND TOO MANY TREES IN WATER.

    A big thank you to the Rutledges for allowing our big family to enjoy the place they call home!! We had family young and old from New York, New Jersey, Indiana, North Carolina, Virginia, Tennessee and Georgia and there was plenty of room for everyone! Day two we were already planning our next "Griswold Vacation" to Da Casa Banana2!! So much space and plenty of things to do. The home is amazing inside and out. Outside we enjoyed the pool, cabana, volleyball and hot tub! Inside we were playing cards, playing pool, playing the piano and of course the Twilight marathon in the theatre! Yes, a movie theatre room was a nice surprse located down in the man cave next to the bar and popcorn machine! On Saturday we hosted an outdoor wedding for my daughter. The weather was perfect! This home was/is the perfect location for a wedding. The back yard alone sold us! The owners have added a beautiful arbor to the front of the gazebo that is not in the pictures. The bride and groom got married under the arbor right in front of the gazebo. After the wedding we moved to the huge stone patio, pool deck and outdoor bar/cabana for the reception. It was beautiful! The bride said, it could not have been a more perfect day!! : ) If you are looking for a location for an "all-inclusive" wedding week/weekend with enough rooms to house your extended family or entire wedding party....look no further! You will NOT be disappointed!!! The owners have thought of everything!! Beautiful week, beautiful wedding, beautiful weather, beautiful home!!!! AMAZING MEMORIES!!!!!

    Where do I start. First...the pictures do not do this house justice. They are great pictures but they just can't capture the wonderful warmth of having a big group sit around that massive, beautiful dining room table. The dining room is part of the kitchen and it was perfect to have all that space to hang out and talk while people were cooking. My favorite spot in the house was a conversation area that overlooked the pool and the lake....six super comfortable chairs in a circle where someone was always sitting and drinking coffee. There was a two-sided fireplace in the wall between the conversation area and the dining room adding to the coziness of this huge house. The bedrooms were adorable and so creatively decorated. Just as advertised, every bedroom had it's own bathroom. We loved waking up and stepping out on the 2nd floor balcony to take in the morning views and sounds. The recreation at the house was more than you could ask for. Inside, the game room was so fun...pool table, arcade games, television area, game table AND....an amazing home theater with popcorn machine and Netflix! Outside...Wow! Swimming pool, hot tub, big brick fire pit where we roasted marshmallows, bicycles, volley ball, huge lawn area for playing football,kickball or anything else. Great hide-and-seek opportunities :-) Then there is the lake....we rented the pontoon boat which was a lot of fun, but our best fishing came from sitting in chairs on the dock. We spent a lot of hours there just chatting and fishing. If you are looking for a house to rent, please consider yourself fortunate to have access to this perfect place. The owners could not have been more helpful and kind. I have rented several houses from VRBO; this is the one that I wish I owned. Enjoy!

    Myself and my business team had a wonderful stay at this property. It comfortably slept the entire group and had ample space for meeting. The property comes with tons of little "extras" that make it seem like you are staying at a friend's house. The kitchen is fully equipped and is great for cooking meals for large groups. Great experience.

    Our family and rented this property for our 2011 Christmas retreat. We had 35 people in all for five nights and the home was perfect for all ages! There was more than enough room for everyone to eat, relax, sleep, play, etc. The game room was exactly what we were looking for with regards to the children. They were able to play safely while being far enough away to not too much noise for the adults. The backyard is massive with plenty of room to play football, volleyball, etc. We would very much recommend this property to anyone who has a large group and is looking for a space with a multitude of options and activities for both children and adults. Our family is looking forward to renting this property again when the weather is warmer so we can take full advantage of the pool and lake. Thanks Jim and Deeny!

    This home was the site of an unforgettable weekend during which my sister got married. Words cannot explain how INCREDIBLE this home is. We were BLOWN AWAY by the attention to detail, number of beds, extensive balconies, cabana, entertainment options, views, and incredible pub/gameroom. This home was truly three days of PARADISE for our friends and family. The owners were straightforward and kind to our family. When we had questions, they quickly responded. When we wanted to see the site in advance, they graciously opened up the home between visitors. We will NEVER forget this special, special place. We know our friends will be talking about it for years to come.

    This place has it all! This home is completely amazing! From the second you drive through the front gate to the minute you see the lake. Every room is decorated to perfection down to ever last detail. The beds are so very comfortable along with the high quality linens. The kids loved the bunk room and the log cabin room! The game room was also a huge attraction for the kids. They loved the pin ball machine and pool table all the while listening to the juke box play. This is the perfect place for families with kids of all ages. The kitchen is a chefs dream. We loved the huge table for our whole family to sit together. The entire property is a dream. From the huge deck with the pool to the patio with a inviting fire pit this is the perfect place to get together with family and friends. It would be an ideal setting for a wedding!! If you have a chance to stay here it is worth every penny! The only advice I can give you is to stay long because you won't want to leave. It is a home away from home and so much more:)

    Our Supper Club of 10 couples enjoyed your beutiful home, big kitchen and a bedroom for everyone. We enjoyed swimming, cooking together in the large kitchen, nice evenings in the hot tub, games on the lawn and grilling out on the large back porch. Your home was even more than what we thought. The owners are so friendly and hospitable - they truly wanted us to love their home as much as they do.     What more could you ask for? I just finished a weekend stay at Da Casa Banana2 and it was truly a wonderful experience. There was plenty of space both inside and outside for our large crew and we couldn't have asked for a better setting. The unique decor on the inside is one of a kind and the outdoor pool area has a fabulous view of the large, level lawn and lake. I would highly recommend this property!

    We rented this beautiful home for our very large family of 14 adults and 13 grandchildren for a week in June 2010. The bedrooms were just as pictured and baths plentiful which met all of our needs. The kitchen and dining room allowed the children to eat together and then all of the adults with out a problem. The additional butlers pantry allowed us to cook without heating up the dining area. The family/playroom with games and TV was delegated to the younger set while the adults had quiet time in the living room. The only problem we had was it was difficult to use our ski boat. The dock is in what we would call shallow water and while there was a channel in the middle getting there proved to be a problem. However, the wave runners pulled on shore easily. All in all the house was exactly as presented, the owners extremely helpful, and we had a great time. Georgia was a bit hot 101 F and humid it rained three days which everyone said unusal for this time of year; so for a group from Colorado and hot Arizona the weather will be the only thing keeping us from coming back. We had a wonderful time.
