Our family -- 8 adults, 4 children had such fun skiing in the fresh and man made snow, tubing and sleigh riding! Our 2nd stay in this home. Lots of room for all to watch TV, play board games, play pool, or read a book. It was Super Bowl Weekend so lots of excitement as we cheered on our favorite team! Thanks for shipping item I left!

What a great house!! Very cozy and comfortable. The "man-cave" downstairs was perfect for our 3 13-year old boys. Plenty of room. Loved the big table for family meals, recounting all the actvities on the slopes. Nice short drive from the house to the slopes. An extra plus - location on the golf course. The boys were able to sled down the hills. Great house!!!

It sure did snow for us!! Snowed us right in, and there was no better place to spend those cozy days over Christmas. Your house is gorgeous, true to all pictures and marketing points. We were on the slopes the day they opened for the season and our kids had a blast in the Treehouse ski programs and at Discovery Ride and on the ZipLine. We did sled right down the fairway in the yard a number of times!!!! So fun. Your house and games and pool table kept us busy the other days. Loved walking to Devil's Grill for Christmas Eve dinner (its no problem walking there), and loved the Copper Mine for kid's. And thanks to Chirios Pizza for delivering to us, up the mountain, in the middle of a snowstorm!! It was delicious. Thanks for a great stay and great guidance.

We went down for the weekend with three families. Great place, very thoughtfully set up. We had 7 young children with us, and the kids rooms handled them nicely (baby went in pack and play in master closet). The 4-6 year old kids fished the pond on the golf course Saturday morning and caught a bunch of bluegills with worms we founds under rocks. Very isolated, with great back deck, and very nicely decorated. Not to mention the owner was very responsive and always available to help. Will definitely be back.

We found lots of Wintergreen homes available through VRBO and were very pleased that we chose this one. Very quiet and pleasant location, right on the golf course which was great for early morning and late evening strolls. The house itself was clean, comfortable, spacious, and very nicely furnished. The decks are also great; we had a good time at cocktail hour watching golfers go at it on the 9th tee box. We used the kitchen and the charcoal grill successfully but also had a great meal at the golf clubhouse, which is walkable (although quite uphill). And the pool table provided a nice diversion. All in all a great choice!

The Memorial day weekend at Wintergreen was wonderful. We actually had 2 houses, with this one being the second house. This house was more then we could of imagined. Very clean and actually looked like a model home. It's off a path in a cul de sac, so it's very private and looks onto a golf course. I would give this a A+ rating, and well worth the cost. The owner was very helpful, and answered all my many emails in a very timely manner. He seems like a very cool person. The activities that I would recommend would be the zipline and plunge. The kids love it very much. We did see a black bear, which was very exciting for the group. I would recommend this house to my friends and family if they every want to rent in Wintergreen.

This house is beautiful, clean, well-maintained and well-decorated. We had two families, 10 people including 6 kids and had more than enough room and were very comfortable. The house had just about everything we needed and more! The owner was so nice, helpful, and responsive. I would HIGHLY recommend this property to anyone. We would definitely like to stay there again!

Our family had a great time relaxing, hiking and playing golf for a week with this home as our base. The open kitchen, dining and family room area was wonderful. We enjoyed playing board games in the evenings, a game or two of pool, and sitting on the expansive deck enjoying the cool mountain breezes! The owner was wonderful to work with and always responded quickly to questions. Location is perfect for access to all Wintergreen offers.

Owner response: Thanks for the kind words. We work very hard to make our home special for all who use it. Glad you had fun.

This house is a golfers dream house. My husband was in golf heaven on the greens late in the evening. We also seen 4 deer in the evening out on the fairway chasing each other. We will be back! This house was perfect for our ski getaway. Beautifully decorated, comfortable, and roomy, with wonderful views and privacy. Three families rented it together, and there was more than enough room for everyone, since the huge basement became the "kids only" hang out. We couldn't have asked for a better place to enjoy our trip. Short drive to the slopes, and a warm fire to return home to at the end of the day.

My family and friends expected this home to be nice, but the pictures simply don't do it justice. This place far exceeded our expectations and was the foundation of a great vacation. We had three families with 6 adults and 6 young children and everyone was fully accommodated with each of the adult couples having their own bedrooms. The location, quality amenities and decor were absolutely perfect and made for an ideal ski vacation. The owner has obviously taken great pride in this property and if you're looking for a well-appointed home close to Wintergreen Resort and other activities that can accommodate multiple families, this is it. We would recommend this home to anyone and plan to visit again.

Our family of four enjoyed a few nights here in August and it was the perfect place for us. We loved walking out to the golf course in the evenings to putt around on the greens nearby and fish in the pond right there at the house. After dark we would play pool downstairs and it would get cool enough in the evenings to have the gas fireplaces going. This house has every amenity you can think of!

This home was wonderful! We rented for a long weekend in July and couldn't have been happier with the accommodations. It is tastily decorated and there was plenty of room for 3 families. The downstairs game room was excellent, and the rest of the house was perfect for our needs. We also loved the yard and its privacy; it is a beautiful setting. The whole rental process was easy. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone, any time of year! This house was a convenient spot for anywhere at Wintergreen-we just loved everything about it.

Our four-week stay, beginning July 28, 2008, was wonderful. The home is well equipped, the bed we slept on was very comfortable and every appliance worked without problem. The interior decorating makes the house feel like a home and not a rental. There are two main public areas in the house: 1) main level, with expansive windows, allows views of the golf course through a light privacy screen of trees and 2) the basement entertainment area. The house is sited on the peninsula that is quite private from the golfers and adjacent property owners. We slept every night with with windows open and never had to use the AC during the day. I would give this home a very strong endorsement and encourage the prospective renter to look closely at this gem. Please leave the month of July/August for us.

We rented this house for the month of January and loved every minute of it. The weather did not cooperate for us in the beginning for skiing but came around later in the month; however, the house was a great location for long golf course walks and walks to dinner at Devil's Grill! Great house, great folks to deal with and would recommend it highly.

We stayed at this beautiful house twice this summer, and enjoyed every minute of both stays. The house is beautifully decorated, well-equipped, and well laid out, and the location is fantastic. It was great being able to walk to the Devils Knob restaurant for dinner.

Our family had a lovely stay at High Top during Mid-August. What a perfect location on the golf course!! We enjoyed late evening walks on the golf course and watching the golfers during the day. This is such a well designed home with great views and free-flowing living space. Our children had a great time downstairs in the game room and we enjoyed the serenity of the light-filled rooms and views upstairs. We look forward to returning next summer.

We stayed at this property for 5 days before and after our daughter's wedding at Veritas Vineyard. It is an exceptionally lovely property. NO addition to detail was overlooked--we immediately felt like we were staying in a model home, it is so beautiful! Although it does not have a mountain view, the house literally is surrounded by the golf course, but in a very unintrusive way. 83 Gray Birch Lane will always be a part of our fondest memories of our daughter's wedding.

This has to be the nicest home we have ever rented. It is sited perfectly on top of the mountain with views of the golf course. It is on a large lot and is very private. The furnishings are tasteful and include everything you can think of. We have stayed in the home twice and will go back. We highly recommend it. Less expensive than renting through the resort and much, much nicer.
