I really enjoyed my week stay at this Dublin apartment. It was very convenient to get to all the major sites in Dublin with either a short walk or the Luas. You can even take a hop-on-hop-off tourist bus (ticket good for 2 days) and use that to get back to the apartment because it is just a block from the Jameson Distillery. I really felt that I got the flavor of living in Dublin at this apartment. The Fresh Market grocery has lots of prepared meals and wines to choose from and we ate most of our meals in the apartment. The immediate area appears to be a new trendy area and has some produce market warehouses just east of the apartment. There is a lot of empty retail space on the first floors of this complex, but that is the current economic situation in Dublin. Overall, the complex and the apartment are newer, clean, and safe. There is a fixed cab fare to the airport (19 euros) from here -- just visit the concierge for details.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 3/3

We're a family of four and we stayed for two nights. It's a nice spacious one bedroom apartment with a sofa bed in the living area which suited us well. It's on the western edge of the tourist areas close to the Old Jameson distillery. It's a reasonable walk to see the sights but easier for little legs to take buses, trams or the round-town tourist bus which all stop very near by. There's a grocery store in the same complex so it's easy if you want to eat in and there's a good cafe nearby for breakfast (closed Sunday). If you've got kids, it's important to note that there isn't a TV and wi-fi wasn't yet available when we stayed. The one main negative relates to the financial situation in Ireland. Like many areas in Dublin, particularly away from the centre, there are a lot of empty retail areas near the apartment and it feels desolate, particularly late at night. That said, the apartment is nicely decorated with 60's touches and coffee table books etc. The under-floor heating in the bathroom is really good and it's pleasant to stay in.Did you find this review helpful?
