Holiday villa in Florence hills with great charm. Set amidst the lush, wooded hills of the Mugello Valley, in a peaceful, rural valley northeast of Florence this recently restored farmhouse and charming stone annex offer spacious accommodation in very peaceful surroundings. They have recently been restored to a very high standard. Views over the surroundings vineyards, apple orchards and olive groves are to be enjoyed from almost every room in the main house, and the living area in the stone annex has three large windows which allow guests to truly appreciate the sweeping panorama. The large private swimming pool 16*8 affords magnificent views back down the valley, as does the large cast iron table for outside dining which enjoys the shade of a beautiful oak tree. The two properties sit 50 metres apart, and are surrounded by lawns, terracotta terraces and apple orchards. (weekly prices indicated are or the main villa - annex kept closed) Beautiful terracotta tiling and exposed beams throughout give the property a rustic atmosphere. Ground floor: enter into oak-beamed living room with enormous open fireplace in Tuscan stone and 3 windows which flood the room with sunlight; through to dining room with solid wood table seating up to 16 people comfortably; to the left an arch leads to a charming, pale wood kitchen and to the right a door opens onto a small corridor from which two pastel coloured bedrooms can be accessed, one queen and one twin. A shower room is also accessed from the same corridor, and the area can be shut off for privacy, forming a “2 bedroom suite ”, ideal for a family. A second shower room is also available on the ground floor, accessed from the dining room. First Floor: a long corridor leads to all 6 individually coloured and rustically furnished bedrooms on this floor, of which 3 queen bedrooms with en-suite shower room and 2 twin bedrooms, also with en-suiteshower room. A further very small single bedroom - extra bed on request- with pretty views over the swimming pool and en-suite shower room. Annex: Enter into a charming open space with a small kitchen and living area with floral patterned armchairs and a dining table seating 6. The room is very bright and sunny thanks to two enormous,panoramic windows offering splendid views over the surrounding fields and vineyards. Basement fl.: living room.
