The Oak Island Beach Villas are ocean front Condominiums (facing south) with a common pool and boat parking for owners and guests. Our condo has the beach and ocean right outside the double balcony (Master BR & LR) where many types of seabirds and dolphins can be seen. The Oak Island Golf and country club (with a very nice restaurant)is across the street and available to guests. The Brunswick County airport is five minutes away and great for aviation enthusiasts.

Oak Island is six miles from the quaint and historic village of Southport, North Carolina with many great restaurants and antique shops; 30 minutes to Calabash, NC and 40 minutes to Myrtle Beach, SC. Going north, the large city of Wilmington, NC and New Hanover Airport is 30 minutes away. There are lots of good restaurants in the area and we recommend the ones we've tried.

The weather is sub-tropical with Palm Trees growing naturally. The Cape Fear inlet borders the east end of the island and is a large inlet for ocean-going ships. A detailed set of pictures and information of the villas is available. Sat to Sat rental.

  • We loved this condo. It was very nicely decorated and very clean. The owner were very nice and conscious. We have stayed in a number of vrbo properties along the NC coast, but this was our favorite. I made the reservations at the last minute- the owners were so nice and easy and respectful to work with. We loved the Island and loved being about 7 miles from Southport.AWESOME!! Sincerely, Gail Banks
