We are staying in this apt for 3 months and are half-way through our stay. We cannot get over how perfect the location is. Close to absolutely everything! The apt looks great on the internet and is even better in person. One restaurant below and another across the narrow street out front make for wonderful smells coming in the windows.Would stay here again in a heartbeat and will recommend to all our friends.

My wife and I love Paris and we have stayed 6 times at "our " Rue Lanneau address. This wonderful appartment is warm, well appointed, well managed and perfectly located. Returning to the 5th is like coming home. We know the shop keepers, restaurants, open market booths and it is but a few blocks from our backyard, Luxumbourg Gardens. There is a spirit to the 5th, a teeming student life, a walk on the Seine after dinner, 5 minutes from Notre Dame and a short bus ride to where ever you want to go from 2 blocks away. We're going back next year.

This apartment was everything we had hoped for and more. It is located in a fantastic, but quiet position, close to Metro and bus lines and within a few minutes walk of two great markets. The street is narrow and cobblestoned and there are more places to eat within an easy walk than you can imagine. The area has a really safe feel, even late at night, and although there are people around it is not a touristy zone. The photos of the apartment undersell the look and feel. The kitchen is very well equipped with quality cooking equipment and the entire apartment was spotless. The bed is comfortable and the linen of quality. It is not 5 star luxury, but that is not what I came for. It is probably not for people who have bad knees, don't like tight spiral staircases or need to travel with very large suitcases. This was my first visit to Paris, and this apartment was ideally located to explore the city. We walked roamed, drank coffee and watched people. We had a fantastic week in what felt like a really authentic apartment. I can't recommend this highly enough.

As noted, the renters supplied us with much useful information about the area highlights, good restaurants and how to work everything in the apartment. We were immediasely charmed by the space, full of light, just right in size for our needs. I slept in the bedroom and my friend on the pull out and we were both very comfortable. The place was spotless with every amenity available. Our trips in the morning for warm croissants and a bagette combined with shopping at the Markets which were full of goodies and la fromagerie whose cheeses was amazing, made our breakfasts perfect. These were all recommended by our renters. As were dinner at Le Petit Prince (next door) and La Fete Galantes (down the street), both turned out to be wonderful. We did plan lunch at the Restaurant Jules Verne at the Eiffel Tower and tea at the Ritz on our own and found them to be a highlight; quite memorable. The apartment has a terrific location - we walked everywhere. On occasion we took the Metro (i.e., to the Eiffel Tower) and found it quite manageable. I even got along with my French - such fun. Everyone we met was helpful - no one was unfriendly. We highly recommend this rental and hope to return as soon as possible. Viva la France!

We have stayed in many Paris apartments over the years. After having stayed on rue de Lanneau over Christmast, this apartment is now our favorite! The location is perfect, on a small, quiet street in the Latin Quarter, close to many great restaurants and major sites. The decor is charming, warm, and comfortable. And the owner is very responsive and easy to work with. Our only hesitation in providing a good review is that too many people will book the apartment and it won't be available for us the next time we visit Paris. We definitely hope to return.

My husband, best friend and I spent several days here and had a wonderful time. Not only is the ap rtment clean, nicely decorated and well maintained, it is very well equipped-a plus for those visitors who want to cook or use take-out now and then. The location is fabulous- a stroll from la Sorbonne, Notre Dame and other left bank sites. There are outdoor markets nearby, and the Rue Mouffetard is very accessible for foodies searching for restaurants and food and wine vendors. The owners were very helpful with any info we needed; also, there is a guest book filled with lots of great info re: restaurants, tours, sightseeing, etc. Our only regret was not being able to stay longer. Hopefully we will return sooner rather than later. Merci beaucoup pour une visite formidable!

We just stayed at this apartment for four days and we had a wonderful time. It is very close to everything!!! We basically walked everywhere we went and rarely did we needed the subway or bus. The apartment has a lot of useful information, books, maps that can help those who are in Paris for first time. There is also a lot of information on the welcome book of some of the owner's recommendations for dining, shopping. Only negative I found and It is really minor is that WiFi will limit access to only 1 pc at a time. We had about 3. I highly recommend this apt and for my group's first time in Paris it was wonderful. Thank you

We enjoyed our stay at this apartment. The location was great - close to major sites with a terrific market right down the road. We felt like locals rather than tourists. With a family of four the apartment was cozy, but very clean and well-appointed. Our only caution is that there is no air conditioning, so during the heat wave this summer it was very warm inside. In the cooler months it would be perfect.

This apartment is ideally situated. There is nearby access to several Metro lines and short walking distances to two outdoor markets. Restaurants and cafes abound in the 5th to suit every taste and budget. It is a short walk to the river, the Right Bank, the Marais, and walking to The Grand Louvre is very do-able. The Notre Dame cathedral is about a 10 minute walk. The apartment is very clean, well-maintained and comfortable and we felt very much at home. We enjoyed coffee and croissants in the morning while reading the many Paris guidebooks and restaurant guides found in the apartment before we set out on our activities for the day. This is our second visit to this apartment and we enjoyed our stays there very much. We highly recommend this property. This apartment is ideal for a couple, but with the pull-out children can be easily accommodated. If you like shopping, take a stroll on the blvd St. Germain or visit the shops in the nearby 6th. Le Bon Marche (department store) is not far. We walked. For a great budget lunch try a falafel on rue Rossiers in the Marais. For something special, try lunch at La Truffiere, only a 10 minute walk from the apartment. For a very special lunch and some history, try the two star Relais Louis XIII menu at 50 euro with everything included but the wine. Four courses, lots of extras and very elegant. Oh, don't forget to walk over to the Ile St. Louis for ice cream. I hope you enjoy your stay at this apartment. We did.

This apartment is fantastic: it combines charm & convenience & makes one feel that one is at home in Paris. The location makes it easy to get anywhere -- and the laptop in the apartment makes checking train & bus lines very easy. The CDs and books are all related to Paris. An astounding aspect is how spotlessly clean it is -- not a feather or hair anywhere -- making one feel as though in a five-star hotel room. The kitchen is equipped for real cooking in -- and the fresh foods at the nearby Maubier open-air market make even simple at-home meals taste divine. Le Petit Prince (next door restaurant) is wonderful. You're missing a lovely experience if you don't stay here!

It's true - this is a very charming apartment! It's cozy and comfortable with old-world features (like exposed stonework and wooden ceiling beams), yet it has a well-stocked modern kitchen and a gleaming new bathroom. We loved shopping at the nearby markets and then eating in (candles and jazz cd's readily handy to add to the ambiance). There is a huge collection of reference and tour books and even a computer with Internet access so it's easy to look up anything you need. Also invaluable are the recommendations left in a journal by previous visitors (including the owners). Many of the recommended restaurants were right in the neighborhood! We also found it so easy to keep in touch with loved ones back home with free long-distance calling - it doesn't get any easier! We think this apartment is a great deal - it's very reasonably priced and it's in a fabulous location! It's right in the heart of the Latin Quarter, which means easy walking to Notre Dame, the Luxembourg gardens, Maubert market and shops, rue Mouffetard, the Pantheon, the Metro and much more! Yet it's tucked away on a quiet, quaint street, removed from the traffic noises we used to hear when staying at nearby hotels. And even though this is a small apartment, it's quite spacious compared to the tiny hotel rooms that are quite pricey, and it gives you so much more - a dining area, cooking capabilities, a living room with sofa and reading chairs. Renting an apartment definitely enhances your stay and this apartment was just perfect for us!

We have enjoyed spending two weeks each September at this apartment for the last few years. Everything is new and convenient. It is near bus and Metro lines, so all of Paris can be reached with ease. Although the kitchen is well-equipped (even with a dishwasher and weasher-dryer), we eat out each night, never in the same place twice, and always within walking distance.
