Come once and experience all Fripp Island has to offer and you'll be hooked for life. The short distance from our house to the 3 1/2 miles of beach is where you can spend the day collecting sea shells, sand dollars, watching the dolphins play, relaxing with your family or even enjoying an ocean front seat at the outdoor bar. The private gated island hosts two championship golf courses, the George W. Cobb Ocean Point course is a true ocean/link style, and the signature course of Davis Love III Ocean Creek received a 4 1/2 star rating by Golf Digest. There is a special Wee Links course set aside for the younger ones just learning the game. We have ten tennis courts along with professional instructors & clinics. Plenty of fun activities for the kids are also available. The resort has Camp Fripp for youths 3 to 12 and teen activities for 12 to 17 year olds. The island has 5 restaurants & 8 public pools. The newer Cabana Club Complex has 3 pools, 1 heated, 1 large kiddie pool complete with their own slide, & one pool decked out with misty caves and waterfalls. This area also has a great outdoor bar & grill and shops.
Need more? The resort has a wide array of rental fun available. Golf cars, bikes, and motor scooters can be rented by the day or week. Jet skis, canoes, kayaks, and even charter fishing boats can also be rented. The island has cruises available for dolphin watching, shelling at nearby islands, and even sunset cruises.
Fripp Island has an abundant array of wildlife. You'll see deer right in the front yard daily. You can spot alligators, raccoons, osprey, heron, egrets, dolphins, and sometimes even loggerhead turtles on the island.
Newly built in January, 2006. Sweetgrass is the newest subdivision on Fripp Island. Conveniently located to all island amenities. Beach access is 2 min. away, Cabana Club Complex is 4 min., and golf, marina, kids camp & playground even closer.
This house is located on the sixth green and seventh tee box of Davis Love's Ocean Creek golf course. It overlooks the marsh and has one of the best sunset views on the island. It's central and convenient location will allow you to be at the beach, marina, the Bonita Boathouse Restaurant, Cabana Club (complete with three pools & outside bar), Beach Club Restaurant, Ocean Front Sand Bar, tennis courts, children's park, and many other activities and shops in a couple of minutes.
Every aspect of the house was designed with beach vacation comfort in mind. The gourmet kitchen has granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and comes equipped with all the essentials. Professional grade cookware and utensils are there for your use. Pantry has a variety of spices included. The sunken living room has a large plasma T.V. connected to a Bose surround sound system. Be sure to bring your favorite movies! Furniture is overstuffed slip covered comfort items. Gas fireplace. Be sure to check this one out, you'll love it!
All four bedrooms have flat screen TV's complete with a DVD player and VCR each. Walk-in closets in every bedroom. Master-king bed, chaise lounge sitting area, double sinks, six foot jacuzzi tub. Sauna steam in separate tiled shower. Second bed & bath-queen bed, third bed & bath-sleeps four, twin bunk beds & twin bed with trundle. Fourth bed-queen sleeper sofa, den like set up for kids to connect their video games in a relaxed area complete with desk set up for high speed internet. Screened in porch plus front& rear decks.
Extras included are golf car,beach toys, rafts, beach chairs, coolers,two adult bikes, one 20 inch boys bike, free long distance, and high speed internet. Welcome! We are happy to offer this brand new home with lots of comfort for you to enjoy on your vacation. We have lived on Fripp for 15 years and have rented homes different times. We have taken everything we've learned, great comfort items, things we wished we had thought to pack, items we thought should have been included, and added them to our rental.
