Our old style wood burning stove will make for cozy evenings with family or loved ones. The outdoor firepit is a great spot for the family to have hot chocolate or roast marshmallows.

Mere minutes from Cataloochee Ski Resort, Maggie Valley and Waynesville and very convenient to I-40. A BBQ grill and outdoor seating will make for great afternoon grilling, or rocking away on the deck and enjoying the cool mountain air, the sounds of nature and the starry nights.

The cabin has air conditioning, electric heating, fans, 32 inch TV with Satellite, DVD/VCR.

A Queen bed in each bedroom with King Koil pillow top mattresses and a comfortable sleeper sofa, will ensure a good nights rest after a day of fun in the Smokies.

You will feel miles away from civilization while only minutes away from major attractions, shops and restaurants.

As an added feature our cabin has a keyless entry system, all access is controlled by access codes, (exclusive codes are assigned to each guest or service person) which expire after each rental. It's safety, peace of mind and convenience you can appreciate.

  • My son has stayed here twice and my husband has stayed once. All three time were in the winter. They deffinately had snow. My son loves staying at this cabin when he goes to NC for snowboarding. Carmen and Bill provided a home away from home and I wanted to thank you both.

  • Just wanted to say what a beautiful cabin you have!! What a great way to see the fall foilage here in NC !! The cabin is so cozy and warm and welcoming. The surroundings are so very peaceful. If your looking to get away from it all for awhile, then I suggest this place. I couldnt have picked a better place then here to celebrate my 15 year anniversary. I cant wait to come back!!!! There is so much to do but never enough time here!! I would recommend this cabin to anyone who wants a mountain vacation. Thank you so much for allowing us to use your beautiful and charming home.     Wow, I can't believe the Summer is over! The leaves are changing and Winter is on the way. Once again I'd like to thank our guest for making it another great summer, for it's you who make The Cabin At Heath peak what it is. My family and I spent some at the cabin over Labor Day. We spruced her up and and she's ready for Winter '08. It's starting to get cold and Cataloochee will be making snow soon. I got my board waxed and I'm ready to go.     We stayed at this cabin in December 2006 and we were VERY satisfied. My husband, me and our two boys loved it and we will definately be going back again. Just wish we could find out the best time to go for our Florida boys to be able to see and play in the snow. That would really top our vacation off!   • We already had rented the cabin last year in May and were as pleased with it as we were then - my only regret is that we didnt have enough time to enjoy all of the beautiful surroundings and do all we wanted to do (like white water rafting the other renter talked about) - the cabin is cute, cosy, very clean, all the amenities (I personally really appreciate the washer/dryer!)and so private - plus you feel safe with the "key system" the way it is (no key needed - just enter a code) - I love the fireplace....and the roomy porch -- We'll definitely come back! and soon I hope.

  • we stayed at the cabin easter weekend april 6 and 7th. we had a wonderful time the cabin was really beautiful. it snowed on friday night .we got up on saturday and played in the snow. we loved the view and the privacy. the cabin has everything you said and more. we plan on staying again real soon.
