Beautifully appointed Sunset Royale is well maintained by the owners. The ground floor serves as an entry and storage area where guests can usually find an array of beach toys and other water fun items. Two outside showers equipped with dressing area are located just outside the storage room. There are three entrances to the ground floor which add to the convenience and facility of keeping your small children within eyesight.
The first floor offers a comfortably furnished private TV Room with CATV/VCR, one Bedroom with Duobunk (single upper, double lower, single pullout), one Bedroom with Double and single pullout, full tub/shower Bath, and a Queen Master Bedroom with private full tub/shower Bath. Three of these four rooms also enjoy private Deck access. You'll find the convenient fully equipped Laundry Room on this floor as well.
Head up to the top floor and enter the Great Room furnished with comfortable sofa seating along with CATV/DVD/VCR and stereo CD/tape player, Laptop Computer and HP Deskjet Printer, Books and Games and the Dining Area which comfortably seats ten.
This energy conscious home supplies Ceiling Fans in every room for those who enjoy the breezes coming in from the Sound. Central Heat and Air-conditioning operate from two Heat Pumps which have been replaced for the 2006 season. Heat and air are thermostatically controlled by floor to add to the comfort of our guests.
Enjoy the fully-equipped Kitchen separated by a Bar with additional seating for four. Our Kitchen is well stocked with updated refrigerator and range, microwave, convection/toaster oven, 2 coffeemakers, electric can opener, blender, and plenty of cook and serve ware.
A Powder Room is also located off the Great Room for your convenience. All 3.5 baths in Sunset Royale are custom decorated, another feature which adds to the comfort and beauty of our home.
The King Master Bedroom with private bath and Jacuzzi has its own CATV and private deck access. Additionally, we have provided WIRELESS broadband internet access which sends a powerful signal throughout the entire house. Use the iBook laptop computer set up and ready to use, or connect your own laptop to the wireless service. Passwords are provided in our "Welcome Book" located on the Great Room coffee table.
Ready for the outdoors? Revel in glorious sunsets on the serene Currituck Sound. Wile away your days hanging out on our well-constructed private pier which is set up for fishing, crabbing, swimming, windsurfing, kayaking, or just enjoying the view. Unlike most other piers in the area Sunset Royale offers additional safety features which include a roped walkway and completely roped pier and steps. No one goes into the water unless they want to!
While Sunset Royale is located directly on the soundfront, it sits only approximately 300 yards from the ocean where you will find clean, uncrowded beaches. Walk across Duck Trail and choose either the Sanderling 3 or Sanderling 4 nature path. The walk to to the beach is quite enjoyable and designed for ease and safety.
This home offers truly the best of both worlds! But there's more when you consider that our guests have free use of Sanderling's pool about .8 mile north where there's free parking. You are also welcome to use Sanderling's tennis courts and the Sanderling Inn's gym facilities for a fee. Avid golfers can find championship courses in nearby Ocean Pines and Corolla as well as other close locations. Other area activities include lighthouse visits, historic Roanoke Island, the Elizabethan Gardens, and everyone's favorite, the Wright Brothers Museum and Memorial.
