Cutest Condo Directly on Orange Beach - Top Floor, Great Views

Why the Owner Chose Emerald Skye
For years, my parents would rent a condo in Orange Beach in the summer. Several of my siblings and I would also rent condos and join them. We always enjoyed early morning coffee on the balcony and watching for dolphins. My parents belonged to a walking club in Baton Rouge and loved to walk with their friends around the LSU lakes. So, it was only natural that they loved to walk on the beach. We never rented at Emerald Skye back then, usually a condo several miles away. However, the pier next to Emerald Skye was always my Dad's destination for his walks, no matter how far. When I would walk with him and want to turn back, he would always say, "let's just walk to that building down the way." Of course, when we got to that building he would say "let's just walk to that building a little further down" until we reached the pier. It became a little game with us. My Dad died in Sept'02 and Mom in Jan'04. I bought Emerald Skye 62 in Aug'05 even though the pier next door was destroyed the year before by hurricane Ivan. I was delighted when they rebuilt "my Dad's pier". I still get to enjoy early morning coffee on the balcony and walks on the beach with my Dad in spirit.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
We absolutely love going to our Emerald Skye condo no matter what time of year it is. The views are incredible from the top floor and are totally unobstructed. The 3 condo complexes directly to the West of us were torn down from hurricane Ivan damage and haven't been rebuilt. So, there's plenty of wide open beautiful beach to enjoy and never a crowd! We are very lucky that the pier next door was rebuilt...it's spectacular, especially at night with the lights shining on the water. We are conveniently located to Publix grocery store, Rite Aid, CVS and other shopping. Across the street, is Cotton's Restaurant with incredible seafood.
Jimmy Buffett's sister owns this restaurant/bar. Lots of music, seafood and burgers. www.lulusathomeport.com

Patti is from Baton Rouge, LA and Russ is from Fairhope, AL. We were living in Baton Rouge when the condo was purchased in August, 2005...9 days before Katrina. Fortunately, we didn't have damage to the condo. The condo is decorated a little nicer than most rentals since we were hoping to use it on the weekends while visiting Russ' daughters who still live in Fairhope. Russ' job took us to Palm Springs, CA 3 months after buying it and we're now in Fort Myers, FL.

My husband and I and our 17 month old son just got back from staying in this condo at Orange Beach. It is excellent! The beach decor is so cute and perfect for the condo. You can tell a lot of detail went into decorating it. The view was awesome. The beach was beautiful. Patti was excellent to deal with - she was so nice and helped us out in any way she could. Hopefully we can come back soon!

We stayed here for our honeymoon last year and had the most amazing time ever! We chose this building for a smaller, quieter place, and were very pleased with our decision. Always great parking. Very quiet even in the middle of the summer. Very few people on the beach in front of the condo giving it a nice, private feel. Having the pier directly next to it was beautiful at night and made it more enjoyable sitting out at night with the lighting it provided. The condo is decoration is absolutely adorable, clean, fresh, and perfect! Plenty of space for a couple, small family, or even 2 couples wanting an escape at an affordable price! The owners were extremely friendly and super helpful. We absolutely cannot wait to come back & stay here again. We're hoping to book again this year! The one & only complaint we had is the elevator is a little slow, so don't be impatient...or take the stairs...only a few to get up or down!
