Accommodations:  Cottage, 2 Bedrooms, 1 Bath (Sleeps 7-8)

Our Country Cottage is located in Chocorua Ski and Beach, a private vacation community in historical Tamworth, New Hampshire. The cottage is just a one minute walk to CS&B's private sand beach on heavenly Moore's Pond. Our beach sits in the reflection of Mt. Chocorua which rises above the far end of the Lake. The swimming area is roped off and includes a dock and two floats.

A shallow area is enclosed by the T-shaped dock for young children and non-swimmers to wade. No motorized boat traffic and no public access on Moore's Pond. From the deck of our cottage, you can watch your children play in CS&B's private playground or basket ball and horse shoe court. Our private tennis court is just a short walk away. Pets are allowed upon request.

Our cottage offers all amenities with a queen size bed and single and trundle upstairs in the loft and a bunk bed with a single upper bunk and double lower bunk. We also have a double pullout couch. Enjoy our deck on warm evenings or light a camp fire in the fire ring.

CS&B is a private community with private roads. The speed limit is 10 mph, great to let kids bike. A security guard is on duty every day. Our large wooded lot will give you plenty of privacy.

We are minutes from North Conway and the Lakes region. Hiking, biking and four wheeling trails start just 1/4 mile from the cottage. We provide a canoe upon request for fishing or paddling in the lake. Local attractions include the White Mountain National Forest, Cranmore, King Pine, Attitash, Black and Wildcat ski areas, Storeyland, the Remick Farm Museum and the Barnstormers theater, Squam Lakes Science Center. Don't forget outlet shopping in North Conway. We are minutes from many fine restaurants.

Power boating is allowed on Silver lake, just minutes away or the better known lakes Squam and Winnepeasauke.

  • This cottage was as described in the notice and more. We spent 8 days and although the weather was inclement, it was the quiet retreat we, as a family needed. Our young daughter LOVED the playground and the bunk beds. The lake was delightful and the owners ( our hosts ) were hospitable and kind. Highly recommened any time of year.
