Hemingway House is a luxury chalet at the award-winning Sun Peaks Resort. Featuring a gourmet stainless steel kitchen, flagstone fireplace, vaulted ceilings, 2 plasma TVs, original art, and designer decor, it is a welcome retreat in summer or winter. World-class skiing, and a new 18-hole golf course and downhill mountain biking park make Sun Peaks a fabulous family destination. Sun Peaks is also a great place for weddings, and Hemingway House has been used for many a rehearsal dinner, or special honeymoon getaway.
Each bedroom in the chalet includes a telephone and TV (some plasma), and we offer an air hockey table, X-Box, and wireless high speed internet. We offer extra large hot tub towels, sandals, and lots of fun gadgets in the kitchen such as a cappuccino machine, champagne flutes and coffee grinder.
The main house sleeps 10, and can be joined with 'La Cava', an additional suite with a separate kitchen and laundry facility to accommodate up to 14 guests. All rates are for the full house, which sleeps 14.
We have owned the house since 2003, and love the atmosphere of Sun Peaks. Sitting in the hot tub with a nice glass of wine at the end of a great day on the hill, or after biking and hiking in the summer, is the best. Decor and amenities are very important to us when we travel, and we want to give you excellent value but with luxurious touches while in our home. Enjoy your stay!
