It is a five to ten-minute drive to Truro's beautiful ocean beaches along the protected National Seashore, with their spectacular sand dunes or to the calmer bayside beaches that have beautiful sunsets and are perfect for younger children. The National Seashore trails are right near the house where you can take a peaceful walk through the beach forest out to the ocean at Long Nook Beach.

Wonderful sites and activities nearby include the Highland Lighthouse and Museum, the Highland Golf Course, wine-tasting at Truro Vineyards as well as hiking, bike trails and local theatre. Provincetown and Wellfleet are each a ten-minute drive away where you can find great restaurants, sightseeing, shopping, whale-watching and dune tours, and fabulous art galleries. It is just a couple of minutes to Route Six for fresh seafood, an organic farm stand, packaged goods.

The house stands on a hill that faces a kettle pond and the Edward Hopper House. The sunsets are magnificent. The bedrooms are large and comfortable, and the screened porch is a dining sensation. The kitchen is modernized with new appliances. Comfortably furnished for children and adults.
