Its water is crystal clear and rated in the top five of New Hampshire’s clearest lakes. Enjoy the 30 foot long dock with a six by six foot floating dock. Have fun swimming, hiking, fishing, canoeing, and enjoy the beautiful mountain views. The fishing is excellent as it is well stocked with rainbow and lake trout.
Kids and adults of all ages enjoy Friendly Farm where they can pet a variety of farm animals. Peterborough offers theater and concerts. Sharon Arts Center and Harrisville Designs offer various classes. Keene and Peterborough are the nearest dining and shopping centers. Don’t forget Mt. Monadnock, a two to three hour climb will reward you with a breathtaking view of the Boston skyline on a clear day.
