After staying in hotels during numerous trips to Savannah over the years, my husband and I were delighted to discover this apartment when searching for accommodations for a recent spontaneous get-away. My husband and I really enjoyed spending 3 nights in this downtown suite as it had all the amenities we needed (microwave, fridge, utensils, bowls, plates, cups, etc.), and was conveniently located near great restaurants and shops. The apartment was VERY clean. The accommodations were excellent. What a nice hide-a-way in the heart of Savannah. It was quiet at night and provided all we needed for a weekend away. It was easy to book and we were very pleased with the service and quick response to questions. Highly recommended!! We will definitely be staying here or at other Luxury Living properties in the future.

I just wanted to take the time to say thank you for allowing us to stay at your place. Everything was wonderful and comfortable. The pictures are very accurate. It was clean, smelled amazing and the bed was great. The kitchen had all the amenities necessary to prepare a nice dinner. The location was perfect! We were all very pleased with our stay and thank you for everything. If we ever have another event in Savannah we will be sure to contact you.

We stayed in Savannah for one week for our 10th Anniversary. The property is as described. This location is great for walkability of all areas of the city since within a few minutes you can be River St, all of the historic area, Forsyth Park, and all the City squares. Bed was comfortable, place was cozy yet spacious, and it was very nicely-appointed. We will be back, and will also refer this lovely condo to all our family and friends.

We truly enjoyed our stay here. A picture-perfect suite over- looking historical W. Jones Street. Everything is as mentioned and the location is great. In fact, The Wilkes House restaurant is right next door ... I highly recommend it!

Your home is just beautiful. We stayed here 3 weeks and it was truly wonderful. We loved Savannah and the accommodations were perfect - within walking distance of everything & very comfortable. We felt at home with a full kitchen, washer / dryer, comfortable bedding, internet access and cable... It was hard to leave it during the day... but the beauties of Savannah were calling. This unpretentious and affordable lodging allows you the luxuries of a world class wine, food, art, cycling and golf. We hope we can come back again. Thanks, Ella and David

This wonderful place was everything that is advertised and MORE! This apartment location is central to all the area has to offer. It's an easy walk to anywhere in the historic district of Savannah and the River walk (we spent very little of our time there and more time exploring the REAL city). The kitchen was a wonderful place to cook and spend time together. The dining area was lovely too. Savannah is a great city and this was a GREAT place to stay! We just left this great property this morning and we're already missing it and River Street! This is truly the best rental property we've stayed in. We stayed there for 4 days and LOVED it. It is very centrally located to everything. The accommodations were wonderful, and it is so much better than a hotel. A lot of nice touches make it like home. We plan on returning in the spring to finish our tour of the area. Thanks for having such a great place to vacation in! I have already recommended it to several friends.

Jones Street! Truly a Step Back In Time

Although the setting was fabulous, we found this condo unit to be average as compared to others we have stayed at in the Historical District in Savannah. We found the pictures listed to be much brighter and nicer than the actual unit. The unit itself was dark in ambiance. Heavy valances, darkly painted rooms, and out dated decor did not allow for day time lighting to adequately find its way in. Although the claw bathtub was lovely, the hand held shower was not. It was surprising that it was not accompanied with a curtain; we found it very difficult to take a shower. My husband and I found the shower to be a chore rather than a pleasure. Truthfully, although we had a wonderful time in Savannah, we would not recommend this property.

Recommended for: Tourists without a car, romantic getaway.

Great kitchen with everything you need, including tea, coffee, sugar, coffee machine, blender etc. It was very quiet and we never heard any noise from the other apartments. We had to let you know that our stay in the Chippewa Suite this past week was wonderful. The home on Jones has a that charming old time feel and the decor was beautiful. It was very peaceful and quiet. I loved the old claw bath tub and the lighting was perfect I got the best sleep in the four poster bed and the pillows were so comfortable. We truly enjoyed resting on the balcony porch and the smell from Ms. Wilkes kept us hungry. This is our favorite place to stay now......no more hotels for us when we return to Savannah.

Ok, But We Will Not Return

Luxury Living was extremely nice to work with. Very personable and helpful with booking. However, there were many negative aspects that came along with this room. The walls are extremely thin, and we heard conversations being held/tv/music in the room next to ours. The building is located immediately next door to Miss Wilkes--which is delicious southern food--however, you can smell the fried food all day in the apartment. In addition, a line forms early every morning for Miss Wilkes (which is right outside the apartment building) and creates noise that doesn't slow until around 3pm. It was very humid inside the room at all times. Air conditioner doesn't go below 73, which cooled the living room, but did not cool the bedroom. Small things such as: no bowls in the pantry, remotes were covered in grease when we arrived, and there was cheap toilet paper & paper towels. We expected better quality from a name such as Luxury Living. Courtyard is overgrown, and balcony off the bedroom is shared with room next door--not convenient when you want to sleep, and the other apartment has the porch lights on. Hand-held shower head has minimal water pressure and makes showering tedious. Overall, we are very disappointed with our rental, especially for the price we paid.

The rental was lovely, however upon entering the unit, there was a marked odor of mustiness that did not go away and in fact permeated our clothing. The unit could use a good and thorough cleaning. Glass was streaked, blinds very dirty, countertops dirty. The unit needs more than surface cleaning. If one has ANY problem sitting or kneeling, this is not the suite for you since there is no shower, only a tub with a hand held showerhead in the tub. You need to sit in the tub for showering to keep from splashing all over since there is no shower curtain. This was a great location, close to everything including Mrs. Wilkes right next door. Great customer service in booking. Good instructions for entering unit. Shared porch was great for 3 nights. We met a wonderful couple and had great conversations. However, the other nights occupants seemed to forget that the other unit was occupied and needed to be more respectful in terms of being more quiet. With a better cleaning job and some adjustments for bathing, we would recommend this unit. If you are agile, you should have no problem.

We are Australian visitors, first time to Savannah. Imagine my surprise to find this beautiful apartment right next to Mrs. Wilkes. We felt so welcome there, it was like coming home. Even down to the cookbooks that were in the apartment - what a homely touch! Having a 13 year old with us was a challenge but the suite allowed us a bit more space than a normal hotel room and we felt the street was safe enough to allow him to bounce his ball on the pavement and explore his emerging independence a little, all the time being within earshot of "the parents". We loved Savannah and certainly plan to come back and you will be our "go to" resource for accommodation. Perhaps next time we will have time to visit Tybee as well! Ken, Barbara & Adam

My husband &I stayed at Chippewa Square Suite on our honeymoon. We were excited to be in the Historic Savannah to see all of it's beauty. Great accommodations. Thank you for the note on the parking pass. Couldn't have lived without it. Just make sure to take cash to purchase them at the Visitor's Center (they don't take debit cards). We explored all over Savannah including Tybee Island & Hilton Head. Beautiful and not far to drive. My advice is to take a trolley tour first then know where you want to go back to. River Street is great place to eat, shop and take a boat ride. Great way to see the river. We had a great time and thanks again for the wonderful Southern Hospitality.
