- Pets allowed:Yes
- Wheel chair accessible:No
In the heart of beautiful San Francisco's Sunset District, sits our charming, two-bedroom, one-and-one-half bathroom, Edwardian home-away-from-home. This completely remodeled luxury flat faces Golden Gate park and is walking distance to the De Young Museum. The Sunset District has been dubbed the most up and coming district in the city, with shops, restaurants/bars, Golden Gate Park, and the beach at your fingertips.
Equipped with a full gourmet chef's kitchen, our Sunset Suite is prime for short or long stays. For those cold San Francisco nights, the flat has two fireplaces, one in the living room and one in the master bedroom.
We have taken pride in the remodelling as well. Everything has been done top-notch - with granite countertops, brand-new appliances (including washer, dryer, dishwasher, microwave, and refrigerator), extensive inlaid marble work in kitchen and bathroom, and beautiful hardwood floors throughout the house.
Our slice of San Francisco provides a clean, new home with linens and access to the whole city... ten minutes to downtown and the financial district. The majority of visitors are return visitors... and we cater to small weddings, anniversaries, family reunions, and simple vacations.
Feel free to leave your heart in San Francisco... only to come back and re-find it in our home.

I have been renting this place for years on my twice yearly trips to San Francisco. You couldn't ask for a better location. It's close to the N and there's also buses right outside the door. There's a grocery store literally around the corner, which is very convenient. Golden Gate park is literally across the street. And there are numerous restaurants, bars, and shops in the neighborhood. The apartment itself is spacious and has many amenities including a HUGE jacuzzi tub, high-end kitchen appliances, washer and dryer, satellite TV, and wifi. The owners are very friendly and super responsive. I have come here with a group of friends for a fun getaway and I've also come with my kids and had a family friendly adventure. Perfect for both occasions. I can't say enough good things about this apartment!Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car.

For those of you who are not familiar with San Francisco, The Inner Sunset is the most magical neighborhood in the city. it's right next to Golden Gate Park, unpretentious, friendly and there's an abundance of unbelievable restaurant's. If you're a couple or a family there's something for everybody. Oh ya I forgot, the apartment. It's awesome! It's spacious, clean and the owners are super nice and were attentive to all our needs. Forget the hotel, forget the Marina, this place is it!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers, people with disabilities.

We arrived early evening (Check-in time is 4 pm) around 5:30 pm to discover the owner's relative's belongings in the unit, along with half a dozen beer bottles, take out containers and dirty dishes in the kitchen. Unmade/used bed linens and overall disarray in the unit. Called owner who had to sort things out and several hours later we were told we could go back. We went to another location until these details were sorted out. This is an older unit so the floors, walls and windows are very thin. Unfortunately from within the unit you can hear all the carrying-ons from neighboring units, including up and down the stairs, creaking floors, and all traffic noises from outside. Not bad if you are used to city living. In addition, the unit had no paper towels, tissue, no soaps or guest-type shampoos, no hair dryers. For the amount we paid per night, this was very disappointing. And, the renovations are not particularly high-end. More like mid-range and adequate. This rental would be a plus if you are deaf to all the noises emanating from the adjacent units.Owner response: Hmm... Okay!!! In all fairness to this reviewer, they are right!! My brother was in the unit from out of town. The dates were mixed up in our personal calendar. He thought the client was coming in the next day had already scheduled the cleaner for the following day. This has only happened once in 6 years... so frankly, I am not that worried about it. With that being said, The very second I learned about it, I was able to put the clients in our three bedroom unit next door and called the following morning to make sure everything was okay... no callback!! We were very apologetic and accommodating to the situation. Now, as far as needing to be deaf to fully enjoy it... well... I actually thought that comment was a little offensive but... It is city life... occasionally you hear things. We pride ourselves in comfort for our clients and ask all of our renters to consider "thy neighbor". The note about the paper towels, tissue, and no soap has been received and addressed. It's kind of a bummer to read reviews like this but I guess that is the game we are in... I encourage potential renters to read some of our other reviews as well.

Stayed here for three consecutive years and always been delighted. Not only is it a comfortable stay, the location can't be beat. Right across from Golden Gate Park and walking distance to fabulous restaurants and gourmet markets. On top of that the owners are great. I forgot my pillow and they mailed it to me. I hope to stay here for many years to come.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

This is a great property. The owners are helpful, kind, and quick to respond. My husband and nine year old son and I have stayed here several weeks each summer to visit family nearby. We also stayed when we moved back to SF and were waiting for our house to close. It gives us easy access to G.G. Park, Academy of Sciences, DeYoung Museum, Japanese Tea Gardens. The Inner Sunset neighborhood has some great restaurants. And the N Judah, just a few blocks from the flat, goes directly to either the beach or downtown. The flat is well stocked, and the layout is very convenient. And there is a grocery store only a block away for eating at home. We found the beds comfy. The one minor drawback is that the livingroom gets traffic noise during rush hours. I have never heard it in the bedrooms, so it was never an issue for us. What can I say? We keep coming back!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, tourists without a car.
