Acorn Ridge Cabin gives the special touches to make sure your getaway will be exactly like you envisioned it, including personal recommendations for area activities and restaurants, based on your group size (couples, kids, etc) and requirements. You won't get this level of service from other owners.
Acorn Ridge has two bedrooms (queen-size beds in each) plus a giant loft with king-size bed (our favorite room), two baths, a bonus room with pool table, hot tub and a covered wrap around two level porch. Cabin sleeps six comfortably in beds. We also have a sleeper sofa in the rec room for kids!
Our cabin is situated on a 2+ acre wooded lot, with the privacy you want but the convenience of being just outside of Blue Ridge. The cabin is less than 4 yrs old and we recently had the exterior re-stained so it looks great!
Our guests tells us that no other cabin they've stayed in previously has the level of service that we do. Of course we provide fine linens and towels but also the smaller things, like coffee, hot chocolate and popcorn. The movie and CD selection has received rave reviews, likely because of the wide variety in each area.
For our our guests that need to be connected digitally while trying to escape it all, we have DSL to make their connections faster.

- Mountain View: Acorn Ridge Cabin overlooks a small valley. The view is seasonal with more of a view in non-foliage months (Nov-Mar).
- Communications
- Telephone: We have a phone there but generally speaking cell phone reception is acceptable given the cabin location.
- Broadband Internet: DSL is available at the cabin.
- WiFi (Wireless Internet): Powered by a Linksys Wireless Router. Connectivity is good throughout the cabin.
- Suitability
- Pet Friendly: We allow one small (under 20 lbs) well behaved dog. Dog must be crated if left alone in cabin. There is a $50 pet fee.
- Kid Friendly: We have Kid's movies, games and puzzles. TV gets kids channels and there's a DVD player. There's also a Graco Pack n Play and booster seat, as well as a stair gate. Older kids will love other movies, games and the pool table.
- Minimum Age Limit for Renters: 25 years old and we verify age.
