There is only one TexasRiverCondo. It is privately owned and nestled in the Texas Hill Country at 333 S. Gilbert Street, in the quaint historic German town of New Braunfels, Texas which was founded in 1845.
TexasRiverCondo is located across the crystal-clear spring-fed Comal River from Schlitterbahn Water Park, a 65-acre mega complex, voted America's #1 Water Park for the past six years!
WADE ACROSS THE COMAL AND INTO SCHLITTERBAHN!
With your water park wrist-band, you can come back to the condo for a meal, or to rest, then wade back into the park! Don't want to "wade?" No problem. There is free parking less than 1/2 mile from the condo!
It is within walking distance of downtown New Braunfels--and only four blocks from the 100-year-old Naeglin's Bakery!
Restful New Braunfels is a popular vacation destination. Besides the Guadeloupe and Comal Rivers, it is known for its Wurstfest, antique shopping, Landa Park, Sundance Golf Course, delicious German Cuisine, great Texas BBQ, and the Himmel Museum. Plus it is minutes from a multitude of recreational possibilities.
Inside, this attractively decorated two-bedroom two-bath condominium comfortably sleeps six adults. Master bedroom (king-size). Front bedroom (queen-size). Sleeper couch (queen-size).

Why the Owner Chose New BraunfelsIn the 80s we (the owners) would travel each summer to New Braunfels to enjoy a Schlitterbahn experience. We found these condos right across the river from Schlitterbahn, and directly in front of the tubers who floated by the condo each day. WE FELL IN LOVE with the ease of local assess, and adventure. We agreed that one day if a condo became available that we would buy it. And we did!
The Unique Benefits at this CondoBenefits to our condo: * Directly across from Schlitterbahn (and the ticket counter). Occupants with their Schlitterbahn wrist bands can wade across the river into the park. They can wade back for a meal and return. There are VERY few places where one can do that! * Don't want to wade the river? There is FREE Schlitterbahn parking less than 1/2 mile from the condo. * You can walk down the stairs and tube the Comal River or fish! * Beautiful two bedroom condo with large bay window overlooking the park and blue stream fed river. * Private area away from the bustle of traffic. * Picnic tables with BBQ pits! * High speed Internet; two DVD players; 3 TV's; movies available; complete kitchen with utensils; bedding and towels provided; sleeper couch

The pictures do not do this condo justice. It was so beautiful, clean and peaceful. The property was maintained extremely well. I would and have highly recommended this to numerous friends and coworkers. A friend and I rented this for my 39th birthday just to get away. We drove to Gruene and shopped one day. The following day we drove into San Antonio. There is so much to do in the surrounding areas you won't be bored. You won't regret renting this condo. I can't imagine anything else that would have made it more perfect.

Our rating is a result of the cleanliness of this condo and grounds, location and abundance of kitchen supplies. This condo is a ground floor unit and is located steps away from the Comal river, directly across the river from Schlitterbahn, which means many tubers and 'Bahn visitors in the peak season. It is only a few blocks away from downtown NB. We rented this unit for our out of town guests. We did encounter one unexpected inconvenience and that was the omission of a riverbank limitation rule in the renter's agreement. Although the condo itself was advertised to sleep 6, we were unaware that there was also a 6 person limit allowed at the riverbank. In addition, although aware of the no dog rule in the condo itself, we were made aware that only property owners could have a dog at the riverbank. The lady on patrol at the condominium property alerted us and we complied with her instructions.

I have stayed in this condo many times with family and also with a bunch of girlfriends. The condo is well maintained and has great amenities and is wonderfully located. You can cross the river to Schlitterbahn right in front of the condo. No driving,parking or hassels. Your within minutes of downtown New Braunfels and the town of Gruene TX. Both have great restaurants, shopping and tourist attractions. My family loved our stay at this condo!

We love taking our family and friends to this beautiful condo on the water. The location is great, and It's right across from the Schlitterbahn water park! There are tons of fun things to do in this area, from floating, shopping, water parks, theaters, a day in San Antonio, or just relaxing by the river. This condo is romantic, clean, comfortable and stylish. This is our home away from home, and we love it!
