Very easy to find, centrally located, nice open and airy!! Has all necessities for a wonderful weekend getaway. Two bedrooms have in suite baths, and the other 2 rooms are so close together to allow a shared bathroom. The kitchen was fully stocked, seating for many and just a nice cabin to spend time in. The deck really is wonderful to sit on and enjoy the crisp morning and evening air!! The owners were extremely flexible with us and our dates, and were very prompt in returning emails and answering questions. We will be back!!

The Perfect Cabin

5 Star Cabin - This was our first time at this cabin and it was perfect! The cabin was clean and well kept. It heated up quickly and felt very cozy. There were 9 people in our group and the cabin fit us perfectly. It's location, amenities and charm make it a perfect place to stay.

Wonderful Tahoe Cabin!

My husband and I had an amazing time at this cabin. The upstairs of the cabin is a cozy / perfect great room equiped with a fantastic kitchen, large deck and plenty of space to lounge and visit with family. Further, the bedrooms are downstairs, providing peace and quiet for those that want to retire to bed early. From a location standpoint, this cabin is close to Kings Beach and sits in a cute neighborhood. We will definitely be renting this home again!

Cozy Vacation Home

Wonderful vacation home, very cozy, spacious. Everything you would need is within about a 5 to 10 minute drive of the home including Safeway, Tahoe City, Casino’s, restaurants and shopping. The neighborhood is very quite and serene, close to everything, but still removed from the hustle and bustle of the city. It was really nice taking our dog on walks through the neighborhood. The home owners are wonderful, very nice, accommodating and easy to work with. The home felt like a tree house, the bedrooms are down stairs and the living room, kitchen and dining room are upstairs and all you can see are trees for days! It was really nice having 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms for 8 adults and 2 children. We will definitely stay here again!

Above all, it was a pleasure dealing with Tess. Correspondence and the transaction went as smoothly as can be, as she remained available and attentive to any questions we had. We emailed Tess on a particular issue which came up while we were at the house, to which she responded immediately by email, then called my cell (which I missed), then called the house itself in order to reach me. The house is spectacular, well equipped with cooking items (important for us, as we made a majority of our meals) and is ideally located in between the major North Lake ski resorts we wanted to try. The supermarket and a particularly tasty vietnamese restaurant is close by, too. I received my security deposit about three days after our stay wrapped up. If we go back to Tahoe, her cabin will be our place of choice.

We all had an amazing time in your wonderful home over the winter holiday. The house was so well outfitted with every possible need anticipated, clean and comfortable, well designed for two families and just perfect in every way. The kids loved the TV's in their bedrooms and the super snow play in the backyard. We all loved the hot tub. The upstairs great room and kitchen were a delight. We cooked meals every night. The whole experience exceeded our expectations. Thank you so much, The Woods.

My family and I had a wonderful time during our recent stay at your cabin! The cabin plenty spacious, warm, cozy and extremely serene. The scenery surrounding the cabin made it seem as if we were in a giant treehouse. We enjoyed ourselves tremendously - both in and out of the cabin. We will definitely be making this an annual trip. My husband and I were looking for a romantic get-away and your lovely home fit the bill to a "T". We especially enjoyed the lodge style ambiance, decore and fireplaces, etc. Very cozy and super-romantic. Thanks so much for making it all you said it was and much more. Oh yes, and it was immaculate, something we really appreciated.

This is a clean, comfortable cabin in a great location. However, the upstairs living area lacks curtains, and the master suite is not very private either; we had to drape sheets to avoid providing a peep show. Also, there is a 10AM check-out that I didn't realize, which was a bit of a scramble. Overall though, the owner was pleasant to deal with, and we had a relaxing time with a great off-season rate and no crowds.

Owner response:Wow, first time anyone has mentioned no curtains upstairs in seven years of ownership. Reason being, the surrounding forest and peek a boo lake views are fabulous from 2nd floor and no one can see in. All our bedrooms including the Master Suite have vertical blinds installed, giving our guests complete privacy for those who wish to use them! Our 10:00 AM checkout is posted in our Guest Reservation Application and in the house. As owners, we are very flexible as far as our checkout time. Unless there is a back to back rental then the 10:00 time is a must, as our maid only has five hours to turn the home around so it's as welcoming for the next guest as it was for the last.

Thanks for lending us your wonderful vacation home, Greg. We only used three of the bedrooms, but having that wonderful great room upstairs with the deck and bbq as well as the hottub was wonderful! The location is perfect and the neighborhood is very quiet and friendly. We enjoyed our week away from the Bay Area, and recommend this home to anyone looking for a comfortable family vacation place. Our kids loved TV's in their bedrooms, and we enjoyed the separate master suite.

Greg, We really enjoyed our stay at your home last month! Your cabin is so very nice and it was the perfect place for our family to get together and celebrate my husband's 60th birthday!! We were lucky to get quite a bit of snow and the hot tub was a treat. An extra bonus is that we could have our dog with us also - since she is part of the family too! Hey Greg.. Honestly we had a great time staying there. What we enjoyed the most was just hanging out in the "great room" and the deck. The BBQ came in very handy. The entire upstairs seemed to be very accomodating for 8 people to relax and enjoy each other without being crowded. We don't have anything negative to say about the place at all. Actually, we liked it so much that we would be interested in staying in the same place during the winter (just to see how things compare when surrounded by snow). My personal suggestion... foozeball table would be great :-) Anyhow, thanks again and I'll keep you bookmarked for our next trip. Chris

Everyone loved the leather chairs & sofas. They were extremely comfortable and soft. We also commented on how comfortable the mattresses were. Most of the time the beds in rentals are horrible but not so at your place. We loved the grill. It was very high quality. All in all, we had a really great time and loved the location. Erica
