Beautiful, 1400 square foot comfortably furnished Amarillo Ranch in The Villages -- features three bedrooms and two baths. This home has an open living design with vaulted ceilings giving the kitchen, living room and dining room a very spacious feeling. The master bedroom suite has a king bed, walk-in closet and over-sized stall shower. The two guest bedrooms, one with a king bed and the other with twin beds, are on the opposite side of the house for privacy and share the second full bathroom. All the bedrooms have cable tv's, ceiling fans, closets and ample drawer space. Wireless Internet Service is supplied for your convenience.
The lanai is oversized and has a dining area as well as a sitting area. We have just updated our lanai with new acrylic windows, so you can relax outdoors in any weather. A charcoal BBQ is provided, and we ask that you please roll the grill outside for cooking.
The house is located in Summer Hill, which is a short drive to each of the town squares, and very close to all shopping, including a large Publix, banks and many restaurants in the Southern Trace Shopping Center just around the corner. The brand new Wal-Mart super store is just a half-mile away on Rte 466.
The Villages is best known for its on-site, free nightly entertainment and dancing in each of The Villages Town Squares. Spanish Springs Town Square is a rendition of a small Spanish town, with terra-cotta stucco buildings and wrought iron trim. Sumpter Landing was built around a beautiful lake and resembles an old fishing town complete with a wooden boardwalk around the lake and a lighthouse. A third Town Square, yet to be completed, will resemble a western town.
Play 9 or 18 holes of golf, walk two blocks to the adult Summer Hill pool complex where you can swim, play bacci, shuffleboard, and horseshoes, or just relax and enjoy the breezes off the lake beside the pool. Relax in one of the many other neighborhood pools and then head down to the town square for live music, dancing, and happy hour from 5 to 7pm every evening. Dine in one of the many country club restaurants (fine dining or casual) or one of the great restaurants on the Town Squares, and in and around The Villages. After dinner, take in a movie or bowl a few games in one of the beautiful state of the art bowling alleys.

Year Purchased: 2003
Our home has 6 owners. Catherine and Jim, in their 80's, who vacation in the house every year from late January through mid-March; their daughter and husband, Laura and Tim; and their niece and husband, Vita and Frank. We are a very close and loving family who adore golfing, swimming, cooking and being together with family. Our home is NOT a museum, so we welcome you to feel comfortable, relax, and enjoy.

We feel very lucky to be centrally located in Summer Hill, and blessed to have a home in The Villages. We now have 6 cousins who own homes here and we are all looking forward to retiring and living happily ever after in the most beautiful place in Florida.
The Unique Benefits of this House
Our greatest joy is when all our family is in The Villages at the same time. We golf together, lounge by the pools together, and of course, we cook and eat together. Our children and grandchildren visit and there is so much love and happiness when we are all together.

This lovely home is WELL maintained. Five minutes by golf cart to stores and restaurants. The owner is terrific, helpful and friendly. The beds are comfortable! The photos accurately reflect this home. I would highly recommend this home for your stay at The Villages. We will be returning in 2010 to this house.
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, tourists without a car, age 55+, girls getaway.
