In the Winter, the homes in Ward Canyon enjoy private access to the Sherwood ski lift at Alpine Meadows. All of Alpine's world-renowned terrain lies just 200 yards away. Ski to the back door at the end of the day. If you prefer the backcountry, the home is surrounded by some of the region's best snowshoeing, cross-country and back-country skiing
In the summer, The Chalet provides access to the region's best hiking and mountain biking. A five minute walk takes you to private tennis courts. Ward Creek and the Tahoe Rim Trail are just a short hike from the home where you can fish in the summer, or head out to the Pacific Crest Trail for a multi-hour hike to one of the best views in the Tahoe Basin at the summit of Twin Peaks (elevation 8878 ft). Or...just relax on the sunny decks overlooking the spectacular forest and shimmering lake.
