I want to let you know we had a great time and enjoyed the condo. It was, as you promised it would be, VERY well stocked!! That’s a really nice plus that most places don’t have. We enjoyed using the bikes, the gas grill, the beach chair & umbrella and pool noodles. And we really appreciated (especially my wife,) the very well supplied kitchen (dishes, cups, utensils, etc.)! That made things so easy!! Thanks!! We found the condo to be a good launching point for activities (Cedar Point, Beach, etc.) but also a great place just to hang out (pool, fishing, etc.) and we only wished we could have stayed longer! The week was over too soon!

We had 3 generations of our family together for a weekend away and enjoyed the condo and all of its amenities (including dish soap, cleaning wipes, laundry soap, tissues, etc.). The previous reviews are all correct - the condo was well stocked, the towels were plush and the condo overall was very clean when we arrived. We walked to the beach everyday, would recommend taking the flashlight (they had that there too!). Caught a fish in the pond about 100 ft away (big catfish) All of our expectations and needs were met and then some. Enjoyed just sitting on the deck listening to the waves in the distance and enjoyed the area including the Marblehead lighthouse where you could see Cedar Point. Kitchen had what we needed to prepare meals, we made breakfast and dinner. Would reccommend to anyone that wants to pack their clothes and hop in the car for some time away.

Relaxing Family Vacation

I spent a week at this condo with my family, which includes my father (age 70), and 4 kids ranging in age from 13 1/2 down to 5....everyone had a GREAT time. The condo was amazingly clean and had everything and more we could have possibly needed. My 7 year old has autism and he LOVES to be in the water - and the pool literally is steps away from the condo, so we spent the majority of every day in the pool. He also can be quite noisy at times, so the condo being an end unit was an extra attraction. We walked to the beach each night to throw stones and build sand cities...........we went to the African Wildlife Safari and went through three times, the kids (and adults ) enjoyed it so much!!! It was one of the most relaxing weeks we have ever spent. Stacy was amazing to work with, I called about 2 weeks before the dates I wanted and she was super accomodating. All the people living in the community were so friendly - they would wave as they drove by, or sit and chat with us at the pool It really is a perfect place for a family of all ages.

Our vacation at Water Ways was a very enjoyable time! Lake Erie was gorgeous and it was so relaxing to sit at the beach and listen to the waves as the boats went in an out of the marina. Our children put the bikes to good use and we swam in the pool every day too. We couldn't have asked for a better location with the pool just steps outside the front door. It was quiet in the evenings and the neighbors would smile and wave as they passed us, many on their golf carts along with their dog. The outdoor picnic table was very handy as we used it for every meal. We probably would have grilled outside if the facilities would have looked different. We like to visit different locations, but if we decide to visit this area again we will most likely check this for availibility. Thanks so much!!

Great Vacation Spot

My wife and I stayed with 6 of our girls. There was just enough room for everyone, without the need for sleeping bags. The condo is clean and very well kept, with thoughtful and convenient amenities for everyone. The nautical theme of the condo is perfect, makes you feel like you're staying in a houseboat (or a lighthouse). Perfect spot for the pool (20 second walk) and swimming beach (2 minute drive). 20 minute drive to Kroger and Walmart in Port Clinton, 45 minutes to Cedar Point and Sandusky attractions. The gas station/minimart just next to the entrance to the development has most everything you need. The whole area is peaceful and serene and the grounds are beautifully kept. The view from the back deck is beautiful. You can see most of the sunset over the lake until it reaches the tree tops (I imagine in late fall/early spring you can see the whole thing). A few pieces of advice: (1) if you have Sprint, cellphone service is a little spotty, it was on Roam most of the time and data service was very difficult to get. I recommend bringing a wi-fi device (we will next time). (2) Make sure to bring mosquito repellant if you plan to sit out at night (3) Don't mind the long, odd looking winged bugs that congregate on the rear door and screen, they're harmless :) The owners are very courteous and accomodating. The photos are accurate, I would add two more: one showing the deck and one taken from the deck to the front door. Happy vacationing!

Oak Harbor Condo Vacation

We spent 7 nights and really enjoyed ourselves. The condo was clean and well kept. We had 4 boys between the ages of 8 and 10, and they completely enjoyed the games available and the pool! They even road the girl's bike. This was a very pleasant experience for us, and we would definitely rent this unit again!

family vacation

Our family used the condo to extend the sleeping quarters when we rented the cottage. This worked out well because of the bicycles that the kids could ride back and forth from the cottage to the condo. It also helped us with using the pool and the boat slip. The condo is well equipped and those who stayed in it found it very comfortable and convenient to the boat docks, fishing excursions (they caught a pile of Walleye), and the road to Put-in-Bay and other attractions. The kids liked the Guitar Hero and books and games.

Our family had a wonderful time at Water Ways Condo in Oak Harbor. The condo was clean and contained everything we needed for our vacation and more! It was convenient to nearby attractions such as Cedar Point, Marblehead, and the African Safari Wildlife Park. We stayed at Water Ways with our daughter and her three children. It was a great place for kids and we adults enjoyed it as well. Thanks so much for this wonderful place to vacation!

We recently celebrated our parents' 40th anniversary, and our family is so large, part of us stayed at this condo while the rest of us stayed at the homeowners' other cottage property a couple minutes away. The condo was very clean, and had everything we needed for our stay. We really enjoyed it!

..." However, I was most impressed with the attention to detail in your condo. You have made it so welcoming. The kids enjoyed the legos and the castle. I was surprised at the myriad of DVD's available to watch. We loved your decor, especially the picture of knots upstairs. And the kitchen curtains are just so cute! It is evident that much love resides in your condo. I was so impressed with how well the condo was stocked. We found condiments, sugar, coffee, foil, baggies, ice. There were plenty of cups, glasses, plates, pots and pans. The towels were plentiful and soft. We enjoyed all of our meals on the picnic table outside, and found a table cloth. You should write a book about how to stock a rental property for guests. We had a memorable vacation with times shared that will be talked about and laughed about for many years. Thanks for providing us the venue for our memories."
