GORGEOUS GULF VIEW HOUSE WITH HEATED POOL (small fee for gas) in Sandy Shores Court - just 2 minutes to the beach via our private street and private walkway. We are right next to Rosemary Beach and Alys Beach and we sleep 18.
Planning a beach wedding or just wanting a beach getaway, we are the place for you. We are rented until mid August but still have two weeks available in August and throughout the fall. This is the perfect time to be at the beach - no crowds, no lines, and the weather is perfect.
Step right outside the kitchen door to our huge pool. "Barefoot Sands" has a large, sunny and private 12 x 30 pool with loungers, side chairs and a table and chairs for poolside dining. The pool is fence enclosed with locks for children's security and is located right outside the kitchen door. Our pool can be heated during the fall and spring months with a small additional charge.
Our house is perfect for a reunion, large group or just a few couples wanting lots of space and like being right next to the beach. Even two couples or one large family will enjoy the space and privacy of our house.
Our rent includes all linens for weekly rentals and wireless internet connection. Sit by the pool and work or play on the internet. Other houses charge separately for this.
Barefoot Sands offers guests privileges at Shark’s Tooth, Greg Norman’s premiere private golf course, rated by Golf Digest as the number 2 in the country for “Best New Private” course in 2003 and number 6 in the state of Florida.
Barefoot Sands is a very large 6-bedroom, 5.5-bath, 3,100+ square foot house that sleeps 18 (includes 2 sets of bunkbeds that sleep 4) and has a sleep sofa.
We are located in the private gulf side of 30A Sandy Shores community just next to Rosemary Beach and one block from Alys Beach - on a gated, private, one-street cul-de-sac. There are no streets to cross and there is no traffic. Just walk a few steps down the street to the white sandy beach (500 feet). Our street has convenient private beach access via our boardwalk just two houses down.
Our house has views of the ocean from the second and third floor decks where you can enjoy the colorful Gulf sunsets with a cool drink in hand. Or, choose to relax beside our large, private pool (fenced in) after a day at the beach.
Stay connected while you're away - high speed WIRELESS Internet is available so you always have a connection with home and work. It is Free and you'll have unlimited use.
Our gourmet kitchen has granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, side-by-side refrigerator with ice maker, microwave, pots and pans, dishes, crockpot, glasses, pantry, etc. The large dining table seats eight plus there is a side table with two additional chairs. There are three chairs at the kitchen island that seat three more. Or, eat outside by the pool.
The huge ground floor family room/dining room/kitchen has Travertine tile floors. Side french doors open to the patio and direct access to the fenced in pool. The ground floor also includes a carpeted Queen bedroom with TV and bath with shower - ideal for elderly or a handicapped guest.
The patio right outside the kitchen has adirondack chairs and a gas grill for that perfect steak or seafood. If you prefer to eat out, 30A has numerous restaurants ranging from the most casual dining to more upscale.
The second floor features 3 bedrooms and 2 baths (one of them is a jack and jill bath so it's actually three baths). The huge King master bedroom has a tiled private bath (huge corner whirlpool), shower, and has french doors that open to the deck overlooking the Gulf and the pool.
The other 2 bedrooms on this floor are a bunkroom that sleeps 4 and another Queen bedroom, overlooking the Gulf with deck access. All bedrooms in the house come with their own TVs.
The third floor has 2 more bedrooms - one Queen-size and one King-size master. Each has their own private beautifully tiled bath and TV. Both bedrooms open to a private deck with ocean views.
Our house is just a block to Rosemary Beach with all its shopping and restaurants. Seacrest Beach has its own shopping and restaurants within walking distance including Chops opened this spring and is just a quarter block away. An ice cream shop and restaurant have opened - just across the street. We are a short drive down 30A to Seaside - an award winning community known for its quaint cottages and unique design. Seaside has 50 shops and galleries and great restaurants (try Bud and Ally's) and a year-round schedule of entertainment events and activities for the entire family.
You can pick up the bike trail right outside our gate that runs the entire length of 30A. Bring your own bike or rent one nearby. Shopping is abundant and we have a Publix and a Winn Dixie right across the bridge - 5+ minutes away. Golf is nearby at the Fazio designed Camp Creek Lake Golf Course plus there are several other courses just a short drive away.
We know you'll love "Barefoot Sands" - we certainly do!!! There is nothing like a week or even two at the beautiful beaches of South Walton. Come relax and enjoy the Gulf at its very best. |
