Dear Mary And Dave, Just a brief comment or two about our stay. Wow ! This seems to be a very busy and scccessful place. Obviously a good investment for you. First of all, the resort people were very accomodating and courteous. Just a few things had to be addressed such as a shower repair and the play-pal wasn't there when we arrived. It was taken care of in lightning fashion. We did very little in , around or outside the resort since my daughter, husband and new grandchild live in the area. It was a time to sit, relax and talk. We appreciated your fully stocked kitchen. You might be shocked to know that I made lasagne, a roast loin of pork, and slow-cooked prime rib for Father's day with Yorkshire pudding and cherries jubilee. This certainly doesn't happen in this place, but to each his own. In addition to good company, good food and wine, I saved myself hundreds of dollars. My Mom's cooking classes paid off for all of us ! Just want to also add that your condo was immaculate, and we did our best to keep it that way. Glad we had the chance ti enjoy your place. About the owner: We purchased our condo in 1994 because the property was so beautiful that it was really like owning a part of a Southern Plantation, with all the up to date features that we enjoy while traveling. We have been renting our condo for years now and have been able to share our love of this resort with others that would enjoy a resort rather than a hotel on their vacations.
Why the Owner Chose Williamsburg:
We bought in Williamsburg, Va. for a number of reasons, primarily because it is a great vacation destination with lots of places to visit within a short drive and numerous day trip areas, so it is centrally located in Virginia. If you want to experience the history of this great nation, put Williamsburg near the top of your list. Don't miss the "all you can eat buffet breakfast" at Golden Coral on the weekends, as well as other great restaurants.
