We welcome you to our apartment in Town of Dubrovnik. The apartment is situated in the heart of Dubrovnik, just a few steps away from the entrance of the historic Old Town, overlooking the ancient city walls and fortresses. It is a magnificent and enviable location to explore the city and its museums and beaches. Beach Banje is just across the apartment, and you can walk to it in your bathingsuit.

Although completely renovated, its original 19th century style of great charm dating from 1892 when the white stone house was built as "Vila Svilokos", for an ancient Dubrovnik family of the sea captains, still provides the essential mixture of comfort and technology combined with one of the greatest locations in the city.

There are two rooms with high, fresco painted, ceilings, characterized by a Mediterranean touch, are decorated in modern style with a discreet lighting, warm light tones and beautiful finishes and even greater views.

The views from the apartment are incredible. In front of you is unobstructed view of the crystal-blue Adriatic Sea and island of Lokrum, the 72-hectare wooded island, where according to legend, Richard the Lionheart was cast ashore after being shipwrecked in 1192. The island includes a fortress, botanical garden, and monastery and naturist beach.

To the right of you lies, on your palm, and within minutes walk, the whole walled city of Dubrovnik, the long-prosperous and proudly neutral city state that survived for centuries as a beacon of international cooperation while mightier powers arrayed around it battled and bled. Dubrovnik is a walled seaside town of orange tiled roofs, marble streets and lyrically placed turrets and towers that make it look like a sculpture, exquisite from any angle.

To the left of you, within a stone throw, are the two of the most popular five stars hotel in Dubrovnik: Hotel Argentina, and Hotel Excelsior. The view from the apartment is unobstructed with no building between you and the Adriatic. You are one minute from one of Dubrovnik's most popular beach, Beach Banje: you can go home to take shower after every swim. Beach Banje has been rated the third best beach in the world in recent survey by Marie Claire magazine.

Banje, the most famous of Dubrovnik beach seems like providence. This divine pebble beach is located near the entrance gate to the Old Town. Banje beach offers laying down, relaxing, in a deck chair under a sun umbrella, enjoying an amazing view while ordering a cool drink from a beach bar cafe. You will enjoy privacy of your condo and will want to come back. The condo is newly furnished.

  • This apartment was fabulous! The location was absolutely perfect and exactly what we were looking for. From our front window we had incredible views of the Adriatic Sea and of the old town. We were only 2 minutes from the beach and about 5 minutes to the Old town. The apartment was clean and comfortable and fully equipped with everything you could need. I would definitely stay here again!

  • My wife and I stayed in this apartment for three nights.I would do it again.This is not a 5 star hotel,but is a great place for a family, or friends to spend several days in a wonderful spot, and to use it as a base, to explore.The only draw back to the apartment is the steps. Im in my early 60's and it was " fun " getting the luggage to the flat.Other wise it large and well layed out with everything you will need.

  • The apartment is beautiful...the view, the location, the modern conveniences that don't compromise the charm of the building. Comfy beds, neat, clean and tidy living space, nice to have a washer/dryer available, and appreciated the simple walk into Old Town. We took a bus tour to Kotor and Budva, Montenegro, and loved it, but loved more coming home to the little oasis of our apartment. Ferry and swim to Lokrum a must. Thank you for sharing your beautiful spot with strangers!

  • Arranging accommodation over the net carries with it a certain amount of risk (and trust). With this apartment in Dubrovnik, there is no risk. Three of us (my wife, myself and our friend), stayed there for three days commencing 18 September, 2007. The apartment is tastefully decorated, well equipped, comfortable, clean and very well located for sightseeing, eating out and shopping. The views both day and night, out over the water and the old town were sensational. It was very easy living.   • Our family of five stayed for a week in July 2007 and had a wonderful time. The view really is fabulous. The beach and the walled city really are a short walk away. Bedrooms are very spacious. The kitchen is well set up, with appliances like a dishwasher and microwave that are not normally included in European rentals. The kids really appreciated the internet connetion and satellite TV. We highly recommend the apartment and the fabulous city of Dubrovnik.

  • The apartment was truly spectacular. About 80% of the pictures we took on the trip were from our window. The beach is just a few short steps below the apartment and the old town in less than 10 minutes walk away. The apartment was clean, newly decorated and had all of the amenities we needed. And the location was perfect. A quick walk into town for drinks at night or to hit the market in the morning. It was a wonderful holiday and we will definitely be back. Thanks.

  • The apartment was better than advertized. A large, clean, newly redecorated 2 bedroom apartment in the perfect location. We were just a 5 min walk from the gate into old Dubrovnik and just about 3 minutes to the beach. An added plus, most of the area outside of the old town is up steep stairs or streets, this apartment is on the first floor of the building (european 1st not american 1st) and only 1/2 flight off the street. The views of the old town and of the harbor and sea were beautiful. I will definitely stay here again and would recommend the apartment to friends.
