This lovely home, Casa del Mar, is furnished and equipped to provide a relaxing family beach vacation. It is centrally located on a cul-de-sac in the private community of Ocean Sands just a short, unobstructed, walk or bike ride to the beach. Tennis courts are available only steps away from the house, and just beyond that is a lake where children enjoy fishing and feeding the ducks, geese and turtles. The house is fully Wi-Fi enabled with broadband proved by Charter cable.
The house is very spacious with over 3500 sq ft of living space. A beautiful private pool (new in 2008) and hot tub are for your exclusive use. The local owners welcome you to your beach house.
The ground-level has a fully-equipped laundry, play area for children, and a closet with beach chairs and boogie boards.
On the second floor are four bedrooms and three baths. One of the two master bedrooms is on this floor with a queen bed, a private bath, and telephone. Another bedroom also has a queen bed. Two more bedrooms, and two full shared baths are on the same floor. Each of these two bedrooms has a twin bed and a twin/trundle bed providing sleeping accommodations for three per bedroom. A "Pack-N-Play" is available for infants. All bedrooms have cable TVs.
The third floor of the house has the second master bedroom with a queen bed and private bath and balcony. The great room includes comfortable seating, a large dining table, a fully equipped kitchen including microwave and dishwasher, and is furnished with cable TV, DVD player and selected DVD's. Adjacent to the great room is a cozy, all-weather, sunporch. There is a gas fireplace in the great room and a gas barbeque grill on the outside deck.
The fourth floor is a conversation loft with comfortable seating, and windows on all sides giving a panoramic view of the ocean and the surrounding community. A futon, that makes into an additional bed if needed, adds to the casual, relaxing, environment of this room.
Weekly rental rate includes all costs, there are no hidden fees. This is a private rental from local owners, there are no rental companies with exorbitant add-on charges involved.

- The house is located in section I of Ocean Sands, a short walk or bike ride to the Currituck Beach, one of the Top Ten Beaches in the Country according to The Travel Channel. Immediately to the west of the house is the Currituck Club and its Rees Jones golf course, the course is open to the public, The supermarket is one mile north adjoining the Monterey Plaza and Timbuck II shopping centers all making for convenient shopping, dining and spending an evening at the movie theater, Further north on NC 12 is the Currituck County Wildlife Center located on an extensive park that includes the historic Whalehead Club and its docks where visitors enjoy fishing and crabbing in the Currituck sound, The Currituck Lighthouse is a short walk from the Wildlife Center, Nearby also one can find ATV tours of the northern beaches beyond road end where the wild horses are to be found, kayaking and much more. Less than a mile south is the new Harris Teeter market center with Ice Cream & Pizza shops.
