This tastefully decorated property called Norally House can comfortably accommodate up to 23 guests. This large 7 bedroom, 4 plus bath vacation rental is located in the beautiful Smokey Mountain Countryside on 2 private acres with breathtaking surround mountain views. Just 10 minutes north of Asheville, this ideal vacation rental allows you to enjoy all that the Western Carolina Mountains, the Foot Hills of South Carolina, and the Eastern Tennessee Mountains has to offer.

The large kitchen is completely supplied with napkins, paper towels, dish soap, and whatever the cook or cooks may need, including china and stemware.
The spacious wrap around deck has comfortable setting, dining tables and allows visitors to enjoy surround, mountain views while cooking on the grill or dining.
There are views from every window.
The dining room host two large tables, buffet server, china and seating for up to 24 guest.
All the seven bedrooms have queen beds, and wonderful views. There is additional sleeping in the game room. Extra pillows and blankets are supplied. All bathrooms are supplied with paper products, soap and plenty of towels and wash cloths.
The game room has foosball, ping pong, TV and DVD. The Spa room has a large 7 person hot tub, refrigerator, TV and DVD.
There are 5 additional TVs in the grand room and four of the bedrooms. The Grand room has a collection of DVDs and tapes for all ages to enjoy. We pride ourselves in also providing a wide verity of books and magazines for all age groups and seasons including new releases.
The horseshoe pit is conveniently located near the outdoor fire pit. There is a basketball hoop, botchy ball and croquet set for guest and families to enjoy.
Brochures of area activities, adventures and points of interest are kept in the foyer.
The Asheville area host many seasonal favorites: The Corn Maze, Bele Chere--in July-The largest street festival in the southeast--berry picking time in early Spring and Summer--Apple picking time in September. The Farmers Market in Spring thru Fall--Sliding rock, golf, historical sites, many festivals, hiking, biking, walking, fishing, river rafting, horseback riding, shopping, dining, outdoor plays, just to name some.
There no need to get bored with all this area has to offer. At this vacation rental you can play a game of horseshoes, botchy ball, ping pong, foosball, checkers, chess, do a puzzle, soak in the hot tub, shoot some hoops, pick flowers, catch a butterfly, do some bird watching, read a good book from our Book Shelf's, sit by a camp fire, catch some fireflies or just set back and observe the Carolina star filled night sky, you may just see a shooting star.

Owner Description
Norally's Vision
I was born in Panama near the Panama Canal. My father was a career soldier, the son of an Iowa Farmer. My mother was a citizen of Panama.
I lived and went to school in Panama till I was 8 years old. I remember the country as a very pretty, tropical country. I also remember that as an Army brat, I never felt at home there or in many other places that the military would take us. Being a child I really could not understand, why. That is until my father was transferred back state side.
I will never forget arriving at my Grandparents Iowa farm home. It was late at night and there were fireflies glowing all about. My Grandmother (Hattie) came running out to greet us. The love she had for my father was written all over her face. When she hugged me it felt like I had always known her, and that hug. I can still remember how she smelled.
My grandparent’s home was large, inviting and had plenty of room for us all. The next day all my fathers brothers and sister their spouses and children came for a big family gathering. I had Uncles, Aunts and cousins that loved us. They were our family. We belonged to each other. We were home.
My grandparents lovely farm home is now gone, as are they. I could not save that wonderful farm, but the love, laughter, fun and memories my cousins and I shared is ours forever.
I didn't know at that magical moment, how my life would move. I did not know that in my darkest hours, those magical moments I had shared with my family, at my grandparents home would keep me warm, bring me hope, make me smile and give me strength.
I came to realize that it was not the house and farm that we enjoyed so much as each other. Having room to all be together under one roof.
It is our vision to give families that visit Norally House or The Rose on Norally Acres that wonderful blessed feeling that they are always welcome, always at home.

When I first decided to write this review it was to tell you what a wonderful time our U15 Girls soccer team had staying here for 2 nights while we played in an Asheville tournament. We had 14 girls and 4 parents, although other parents stayed in nearby hotels....they could have easily been accomodated in this spacious home. It was exactly as advertised only so much more than we expected. Our entire team was able to sit in ONE room and eat meals, the girls LOVED the ping-pong table and hot tub although the best part was having a family room large enough for a group to come together for game night. The towels were so nice and plush and we felt more like family than guests. The location was FANTASTIC! We were just a few minutes from a brand new Super Wal-Mart and Lowe's. We had a great 2 night stay and if there was any doubt that we would be back, that was completely erased when we returned to Raleigh only to find that my daughter was missing her ENTIRE soccer uniform that she had taken off just before we left. When I called the owner, Ms. Juckem, she raced over to the house with her daughter and DUG THROUGH THE TRASH to find my daughter's missing uniform. Unfortunately, it wasn't in the trash and I resolved that it would be missing forever. The next day I received a call from Ms. Juckem informing me that the cleaning lady had found EVERYTHING that my daughter left behind the bathroom door on the floor. Without any hesitation she overnighted the package to us just in time for our weekend soccer tournament. I cannot tell you how blown away I was by her tremendous act of kindness. So, yet another reason to rent this vacation home. If you are "good" people and want to rent from the same, then this home is for you!!

We had a great and memorable visit to Asheville staying at this home. The house had all the amenities exactly as advertised and was very comfortable for 6 families staying together (12 adults and 9 kids). Highly recommend this house for large groups. The owner was very prompt in responding to queries and has taken care of our Biltmore visit tickets promptly.

The accommodations at Norally House were wonderful--everything we could have needed was easily found. The house was a short drive from downtown Asheville, and conveniently located near grocery stores and other amenities. The views from the bedrooms and the deck couldn't have been more scenic! A beautiful home, perfect for our vacation!
