Why the Owner Chose Fort Collins
Rick purchased this property in 1988, In 2004 we turned the property into a vacation rental property, there were no properties at Horsetooth Resevoir that you could rent by the night. This was a long time dream of Lori's to share this area with the public. We have been building up our client base every since. We have alot of people that stay every year with us and just love it here. There is so much to do while staying here. Hiking, biking, boating, skiing, site seeing, you name it the Colorado Rockies are right outside your door, we have Northern Colorado's largest Lake right across the street.

Old Town Fort Collins is only 20 minutes away where you can enjoy fine dinning, lots of local pubs and several breweries. New Belgium Brewing Co., Odell Brewing Co., Coopersmith Brewing Co and Budweiser Brewery. Lincoln Center can entertain you with all kinds of plays and music. We thoroughly enjoyed our short visit to this cozy cabin. The cabin itself exceeded expectations by being clean, neat and well supplied. Having the lake and all it offers right outside the door offers a multitude of options for activities. The owners are nearby and available if needed but respected our privacy. We will visit again this summer and take our 2 and 1/2 year old granddaughter with us.

We stayed here when our son was 1 1/2 years old and at a very difficult age for travel. This condo totally made our vacation. It was very clean, the furniture was extremely toddler-friendly, and our son had a blast running in and out of the condo into the back yard. Swimming is close by, trails are right outside the door, and we even had a visit from a deer. I'd highly recommend this place for families with small children, or anyone who needs a kitchen.
