Experience the best of both worlds--full resort service including daily housekeeping and getting to select your specific resort condo. This spacious studio unit in the Banyan Building 146 and is conveniently located on ground floor opening to the private lanai with views of the lush tropical gardens and a short walk to the Kaanapali beach in the complex.
Our rentals are a bit different from others on VRBO because it's part of the resort rental program and must meet the Aston Resort standards--my condo is rated 10 highest possible rating. The condo is fully equipped with full kitchen, dishware, 42" flat screen HD TV, DVD, free wireless internet and hard-wired internet, and all new furnishings in 2008, new ceramic tiling in 2009, new kitchen/bathroom cabinets/granite countertops in 2011. Rates vary as to season and occupancy of the resort. In addition, guests are guaranteed my unit.
Because this is a full resort package and our unit has to meet the standards of Aston Hotels, our rates may be higher than privately rented condos. However, there is no check-in fee or cleaning fee. When you consider that this is a condo with a full kitchen and private lanai, the rates are much more affordable than most Maui properties.
If you want to get away from the glitzy highrise hotels, Maui Kaanapali Villas is one of the few oceanfront low-density condo complexes with 11 acres of tropical landscaping. Enjoy the two newly refurbished swimming pools, Castaways Restaurant serving all meals and extensive wine list, the poolside bar, fitness center, convenience shop, beach hut offering snorkel and beach equipment, a complimentary trolley to Whaler's Village, and spa services (oceanside massages available). In the evening, the grounds sparkle with lighted tiki torches. The staff is super friendly and this complex offers a much more personal setting.
The complex is in the heart of Kaanapali Beach located near the Royal Lahaina Resort, Black Rock, championship golf courses, Whaler's Village and more.

Why the Owner Chose Maui Kaanapali Villas
I have owned vacation properties in Sanibel and Captiva Islands, Florida for about 15 years. In August 2004, our Florida properties were devastated by Hurricane Charley. Prior to that we had vacationed in Maui Kaanapali Villas. In order to diversify our properties, we decided to purchase a wonderful studio at MKV. This has provided our with another "favorite" destination. Although we only are able to visit once a year, we have made improvements each year to our Hawaiian paradise.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
Maui Kaanapali Villas is a wonderful, laid back resort. Our properties are more affordable and I believe the staff is super friendly. We love the new pools, the gorgeous new lobby, Castaways Restaurant is super, and it's a great location convenient to Whaler's Village, Lahaina, snorkeling, and more.
Take the complimentary trolley to Whalers Village for restaurants, entertainment, hotel shows, shops and more.

What a great location!! The room was fantastic - it was very clean; had a very comfy king-sized bead; a kitchenette with everything that we needed to make breakfast; a bbq close by for grilling steaks for dinner and we enjoyed many meals on the Lanai which had a great garden view. We especially enjoyed the small pool close to the room. It was very quiet and had lots of chairs for tanning and lounging, and a hot tub as well. The beach was fabulous, not too crowded and had beautiful sand. There was some great snorkeling along the beach, in front of the Westin and a little ways down at Black rock. The hotel was in close drive distance to Honolua Bay which had amazing snorkeling. From the hotel it was a short drive to Lahaina, which is a great town with lots of dinner choices and shopping along the main strip. There is also a free trolley from the hotel to Whaler's village which also has lots of great shops, a few restaurants and some free evening shows. We loved our stay in Maui and would definitely recommend this location to anyone heading to west Maui!
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, people with disabilities, families with young children.

We have stayed in this unit at MKV several times and find it a perfect combination of space, value and location. We enjoy the relaxing atmosphere, sunsets and snorkeling from the beach. The condo is always immaculately clean and the employees of MKV are helpful and pleasant. Even though we spend most of our time in the ocean, we enjoy the newly renovated pool as well. The convenient barbeque grills are a nice addition. From the MKV property one can walk all the way to the south end of Kaanapali beach and north quite a way as well. This is a perfect way to start the day and, in season, spot adult and baby whales. Lahaina is nearby and offers many excursions for whale watching, snuba and snorkeling. Try Aloha Mixed Plate for a seaside lunch or dinner and Safari Boat Excursions trip around Lanai or whale watches. If you head north past Kapalua you will come across an ocean blow hole that is an intriguing site. We plan to return to this condo annually. Our interactions with Candy, the owner, have been helpful and enjoyable and we look forward to her annual condo updates.

What a wonderful location! The condo was very cozy and beautifully furnished. The kitchen was well stocked and the flat screen TV was a plus. Enjoyed sitting on the patio with my coffee or cocktail everyday. Fabulous snorkeling just yards away from the Oceanside pool. Loved the bar and the Oceanside restaurant has wonderful food and a very friendly staff. I give this location 2 thumbs up and will return soon!
