On the northwestern shore of Lake Michigan, a small village called Arcadia lies nestled near the base of the tall, sandy bluffs over looking Lake Michigan. We offer two classic, northern Michigan cottages with breathtaking sunsets outside your windows. Walk along miles of serene, natural, uninhabited shoreline. At night, build a bonfire and relax while enjoying the sunset and roasting marshmellows for s'mores.

We offer year round enjoyment of Northern Michigan. Beginning in Spring, we have world-class golf, record setting fishing, and plentiful wild (morel) mushrooms.

Arcadia Bluffs is only three minutes away, door to tee. Golf Digest has just selected Arcadia Bluffs as one of the 100 Greatest Golf Courses in the United States in 2005. The club was ranked #10 in America’s 100 Greatest Public Courses list and #56 in the 100 Greatest Golf Courses list. In addition to the Golf Digest ranking, Golfweek Magazine ranked Arcadia Bluffs at #24 in their listing of The 100 Best Courses in United States.

Details about our two wonderful Lake Michigan cottages. Our Lake Michigan Lake Front Cottage sits directly on Lake Michigan plus we have a second cottage that sits directly across from our Lake front cottage. This is called our Lake Michigan "Lake View" Cabin, although it is across from the Lakefront cottage, it has a great lake view from the deck and is a little less expensive than being directly on the lake. Each Lake Michigan cottage has three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Both have access to 75 feet of our private, beach front and fantastic views of Lake Michigan with spectacular sunsets. Our little lane is quiet with only about 10 other houses or cottages along it. We are at the end of the road. You will enjoy exclusive, sandy Lake Michigan beach access as there is no public access to Lake Michigan on or near our street.

Each cottage comes completely furnished and sleeps six comfortably. Both have been nicely renovated and remodeled. Both have updated kitchens including all new appliances, and have modern amenities like microwaves and full size appliances with dishwashers. Both include cable TV with VCR's or DVD players. They each also have a stereo system. Both are strictly no smoking!



We are strategically located near 35 miles contained in the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Park Lake Shore. Many wonderful, historic small towns with galleries, antique shops and fun restaurants abound. We are near many interesting places with lots to do, like Crystal Lake, Frankfort, Bear Lake, Beulah, Benzonia, Interlochen, Honor, and Manistee. Our location offers convienient access to kayaking, canoeing, charter fishing, winery tours, concerts at Interlochen, the Little River Casino, and much more. There is plenty of golf nearby, including the nationally renowned Arcadia Bluffs Golf Course on Lake Michigan -- less than three miles south. For novice or serious golfers, this is the best golfing experience Michigan has to offer. It is a public course and has a fantastic restaurant with a spectacular view of Lake Michigan. You also have a vista view of the lake from restaurant and every hole!

The grand Little River Casino in historic Manistee is only 20 minutes south. Another nearby jewel is Crystal Mt. Year after year, Crystal Mountain is rated one of America's best family oriented resorts. In Winter, Crystal Mountain offers 45 runs of downhill skiing, and groomed cross-country trails. Crystal Mt also has spring, summer, and fall golf. It is less than 15 minutes away. We are within 30 minutes of 10 great golf courses. We provide renters with a complete list of these courses. Interlochen music and concerts are 30 minutes away...

Bring your boat! For sailors and fishermen there are two marinas right in the town of Arcadia, with deep-water access directly into Lake Michigan. This is a great fishing area. Charter boat fishing is also available (the largest lake trout in the state was caught in Arcadia Bay).

Nearby inland lakes include beautiful Crystal Lake, Portage Lake and Bear Lake, and Big Glen Lake and Little Glen Lake. All have ample public access and launches. Canoe trips are conveniently located nearby on the Manistee and Betsie Rivers.

The Lakeview cottage has central heat and is usable year-round. It has a fantastic view of Lake Michigan, and you can access it from our own private beachfront property. Another feature of this three-bedroom/two-bath cottage is the 20'x 20'elevated deck, facing the Lake. Amenities also include a new 25" TV with cable and VCR, stereo, and a new full kitchen including a dishwasher, microwave, and coffee maker. This cottage also has a full sized washer and dryer. Other features include cable TV with VCR and stereo (bring your own tapes and CDs). The Lakefront cottage has electric baseboard heat throughout.
