This apartment was accurately represented by the photos and descriptions. It is perfectly located, quiet neighborhood, very clean, comfortable beds. The stove, refrigerator, microwave, oven, coffeemaker and dishwasher all worked perfectly. The elevator is small but it works well. The site manager was there to give us the keys exactly as scheduled and was quite kind, helpful and spoke perfect English. The Eiffel Tower is two blocks away...go there at the top of the hour every night to watch the lights flash. A fantastic restaurant nearby is La Billebaude, 29 Rue de Exposition. We ate there September 25, 2012 and the food was spectacular. Il Sorrentino at 4 Rue de Monttessuy is also outstanding. Both restaurants are within a couple of blocks walking from this apartment. Two blocks away is Rue Cler where you want to buy your cheese, bread and charcuterie. The little market that you will pass has excellent French wine for as little as 3 euros and all the other foods you might need to make breakfasts or other meals at the apartment. The Quai Branley and Guimet museums are close and outstanding and not on the usual lists if you have time after the Orsay, Rodin, Orangerie and Louvre. I would recommend this apartment to anyone who wants to stay in Paris, especially if you have four or more people. The apartment could easily accomodate 6 persons. It's wonderful!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We recently had a week in this beautiful apartment. It suited two couples traveling together perfectly. The apartment feels so typically French, very luxurious with parquetry floors and three sets of French doors to little balconies. The area is a great base to exploring Paris and the metro ecole militaire just a short walk away. Thank you Stacy and Alicia, we highly recommend Champ du Mars.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We just returned from a week in Paris - stayed at this terrific apartment in a great neighborhood. We so enjoyed the rue Cler markets; shopped there frequently but also ate out at several great nearby places. The apartment was just as beautiful as in the pictures and the agents who took care of arrangements and settled us in were extremely helpful. Everything was clear, user friendly, well taken care of. We would love to return some day - hard to imagine how the experience could have been improved upon.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car.

We were two couples and a 16-month-old boy. The apartment was perfect for us. The bedrooms are located on opposite ends of the apartment, which gave all of us some privacy. It was great to have a laptop and internet in the apartment. The location was awesome - quiet neighborhood, lots of restaurants and shops within walking distance, short walk to the Eiffel Tower and Batobus stop. We loved it.Did you find this review helpful? We were on an extended European vacation with another couple and had planned 4 full days of sightseeing in Paris. The apartment was everything that was advertised in the VRBO listing and was a great place to end the day. Compared to a cramped hotel room, this apartment allowed us to spread out and relax in a very luxurious environment! We started every morning getting fresh pastries from a nearby bakery. Although we did not do any cooking, the kitchen was well equipped. We were within walking distance of the Eiffel Tower, Rodin Museum and Gardens, the Envalides as well as the rue Cler market street. There were several nice restaurants in the area. I would definitely recommend this apartment to my friends and family as a place to stay when they visit Paris.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

This is a beautiful apartment in the lovely 7th arr of Paris. Lots of light with beautiful French windows over looking a quiet charming street in the front and windows overlooking an interior courtyard in the kitchen. A lovely twin-bedded room in the back and a a queen bedded room in the front with two bathrooms that my husband called "the best he had ever used in Europe" A cramped den with a double pull-out bed was just fine for my son, but probably not great for two adults. The apartment was a bit dusty when we arrived due to the staff being on vacation in August and the replacement unclear on what she should do (also some previous renters had destroyed some of the cookware), but the property manager was very reponsive to my email (called immediately) and made the situation better (including replacing the cookware that day). We very much hope to vacation there again.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Our first trip to Paris was outstanding! This apartment was the perfect place for 6 ladies to stay as we visited Paris during our spring break in March 2011. We loved the apartment! The location is the best- it's only a few minutes walk to the Eiffel Tower, shops on Rue Cler, and an ATM right across the street! Having enough room for 6 ladies to sleep, two bathrooms (that had blow dryers!), an area that we could all sit down and visit/share our purchases for the day, full kitchen, beautiful tulips and wine on the table on our arrival day, were just a few of the highlights. We loved how secure the apartment was- felt very safe, in an excellent area of Paris. We're talking about visiting Paris and would stay in this apartment again.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, girls getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

My husband and two children (ages 10 and 12) had the pleasure of staying in this beautiful apartment for our first trip to Paris. We were in walking distance to the Eiffle Tower, Rue du Cler shops, Invalides, Rodin Garden and Museum, and so much more! The decor of the apartment was beautiful, yet warm and inviting. The two bedrooms, situated on either side of a long hallway, provided a great sense of privacy for my husband and I, as well as some independence for my son and daughter. We were thrilled with the apartment, and dealing with the agency was an unbelievably positive experience. I would recommend Stacey and this agency to anybody, and when we return to Paris (a definite!!), we will absolutely try to secure the same apartment. Beautiful and memorable!!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We were pleasantly surprised by the large size and fantastic location of this property. The kitchen, bedrooms and living space were more than ample for a family of 6. After walking the sights of Paris all day, the high quality beds and bedding were a pleasure to fall into. The property manager was very responsive and accommodating. A caretaker meets you on your arrival to answer questions about the apartment and area, which is safe, convenient, and colorful. I would highly recommend this property and would stay there again if the opportunity arises.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car.

Your apartment was everything advertised and more. It is in the perfect neighborhood for a family such as ours. Every morning the grandchildren and I would go to the corner bakery for baguettes, multigrain bread, and delicious croissants, etc. We had delightful meals in the apartment from the shops on rue Cler (our son-in-law is a chef) and wonderful walks to "everywhere" in Paris. My grandson and daughter even jogged two days in the wonderful park. We all loved the apartment and, as you said, it accommodated the 6 of us superbly. If all goes well we will be back to you many times.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

My wife, our daughter and son-in-law and our grandchildren 11 and 12, all rate this as our very best vacation. The apartment reminded us of the apartment of Julia Childs in the recent movie. The location was perfect and the agent could not have been more helpful, as was the Paris guide she sent us before arrival. A car awatied us at the airport and the return car was right on time. We were met at the door and everything was clean and perfect, including the Champagne in the refrigerator. Every morning my granddaughter would be waiting for our trip to the artisan bakdery across the street for the "best croissants in the world" she said -- and her father is a chef -- (her's were alway chocolate). The open air market market 2 blocks away was an every day trip and all the sights, including museums were within walking distance. We hope to return very soon.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

Your apartment is even nicer than the pictures! We stayed with our two college age sons, and had a wonderful time. The proximity to rue Cler shopping was great and we walked to the Seine, Arc de Triomphe, and St. Germain shopping. It was so nice to come home to our well furnished and comfortable apartment at the end of a long day. Thank you and we will be back.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

We spent the first week of October with our best friends in your wonderful apartment. I spent alot of time researching before settling on this one. It was worth the effort! The rooms were spacious, clean, and located in a beautiful section of Paris. All the food markets were so close, on two nights when we were too tired to go out, we carried in delicious, prepared food. Stacey was great and easy to contact. This is where we stay when we return! Thanks for a terrific week!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

We had a wonderful trip to Paris. The apartment was perfect for our mother daughter trip. Both the mothers had their own room and my friend and I shared the twin bedroom. The 7th Arr. was perfect. We loved the nearby market street and the restaurant recommendations from the apartment were excellent. We hope to back and stay there again.Did you find this review helpful? Let's put it this way, you've inspired me with this gorgeous apartment. All week long I had dreams of my own place in Paris! Your apartment is just perfect...a great location, beautifully restored and decorated, modern conveniences paired with old world Parisian charm, quiet and cozy. We never wanted to leave and we hope we will be back again soon! Stacey was a perfect contact person. From the time we reserved until the time we left Paris, she was always there ready to help us with whatever came up. She should be commended for a job extremely well done!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

This was our first trip to Paris, and to France, and staying in Stephen's apartment made the whole trip wonderful! The apartment is beautifully renovated, decorated with impeccable taste, and has all of the conveniences of home. It was like being home, in Paris. The apartment and the neighborhood are very quiet, and well situated for using the public transportation to get to all of the sites. To find your way home at night, you simply use the lit up Eiffel Tower as your guiding light. I highly recommend this apartment if you would like a truly enjoyable stay in Paris.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Fabulous apartment due to its location, furnishings, amenities and service. Our family of five found it to be a perfect answer to how to spend 10 days in Paris, enjoying the ambiance of a foreign city, while enjoying the pleasures of home. We could walk to the Eiffel Tower, to the Metro and to the Rue Cler market. I would always stay here in the future. When we had one little problem come up, our hostess was immediately on top of it. Flawless execution. Thanks for sharing it with us.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

My family thought I had completely lost the run of myself as I spent so much time searching for the 'ideal' place in Paris for my family and I to celebrate my 40th Birthday. I had located Stephen's apartment early on in my search but thought it was too elegant and not 'homely' enough for us for the week and I was worried about my 2 year old misbehaving or breaking something in such beautiful surroundings. But I couldn't get this 'little Gem' out of my head so eventually I decided to book it. Our party consisted of my 3 children (2 teenagers and a 2 yr old) and my parents joined us for the weekend. So it had to suit everyone's needs. Once Stacey opened the front door for us I just knew this was absolutely the best choice for us and all my initial worries were allayed. While it was extremely elegant with beautiful furnishings and furniture, as the pictures depict, it had a very homely and welcoming feel to us. There was a great sense of space which we really appreciated and it was always great to come home to in the evening. It got to a point where we were so comfortable living there that we didn't really want to go out one day nor, indeed, go home again!! I wonder would stephen swap a 1,700 sq ft 4 bed semi in South Dublin for his little 'Gem'? Doubtful!! I couldn't really fault anything, except that we could have done with some more towels for the week and we couldn't figure out the TV and DVD. I would highly recommend this apartment for either two couples or a large family, such as ours. The 7eme is just fabulous and we felt like with belonged there with the Champ de Mars literally 2 minutes walk with the playgrounds for our youngest and the lovely food shops, restaurants and nearby fashion shops to keep us all happy. The metro is literally 3 minutes walk away also. For us, the apartment was the best aspect of our trip with memories of my 40th birthday in the beautiful surroundings being with me forever. Thanks Stephen and Stacey.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

Hello Stacey and Stephan. Just a short note to thank you both for a wonderful experience. We recently traveled to London and Paris with David and Stacey Adams last week and stayed at your apartment. It was perfect. Stacey was the perfect hostess, greeted us upon our arrival with expert detail of where to eat, what to avoid, what to see, etc. and came by at the crack of dawn to see us off! I am in love with your apartment and will recommend it to all my friends (my good, quiet friends!) Thank you so much, and we will contact you on our next visit...hopefully I can deal with the long plane ride again...I'm getting too old to sit in coach for 10 hours! Again, thank you for making our Paris trip exceptional!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

I compared several Paris apartments on the web before choosing this one. But I had never rented an apartment via the web before and was somewhat apprehensive. Stephen and Stacey made sure that all of my questions were answered and provided a lot of information on the apartment before we ever left home. The apartment was all that I had hoped and more. The owner has taken a beautiful apartment in a great Paris location and decorated it with elegent furnishings, modern appliances, intricate antique lighting fixtures, and wonderful paintings. The total effect comes together when you wake up each morning to coffee and fresh croissants from the nearby bakery to enjoy another day in an apartment that is homey and welcoming, yet beautiful. The apartment worked great for our party of 3 couples traveling together. Stacey recommended the Paris Shuttle service from the airport and even though our flight was an hour late, they picked us up right away and got us to the apartment quickly. We have been to Paris five times and never tire of this fabulous city. This was the first time we ever rented an apartment, but this home away from home definitely added a whole new set of experiences and wonderful Paris memories. Thanks to Stephen and Stacey for creating such an excellent Paris apartmentDid you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Wow, what an elegant place! The pictures on the web, as nice as they are, don't really do the place justice. Every item in the flat has been carefully selected for both comfort and style. I'm not sure why anyone would stay in a hotel if this is an option. The neighborhood is great fun, and the owners have gone out of their way to put together a very useful guide for visitors. Can't recommend it highly enough. Rob FalkDid you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Dear Stephen, I wanted to let you know what a wonderful stay we had at the apartment. The apartment was so gracious, a great place to come home to after a hard day of touring. We loved the location. It was an area we were not familiar with and we loved roaming about the markets and cafes, the best thing to do in Paris, as far as we're concerned. We also tried two of the local restaurants you recommended, Le Florimonde and La Fontaine de Mars. The atmosphere at both of them was very welcoming and the food great. Stacey Dagron couldn't have been more helpful. She was there when we arrived and oriented us to the apartment. We're so glad we made your acquaintance and hope to use the apartment again on our next trip to Paris. Best, Susan (July 5, 2006)Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Hi Stephen, We are back from our wonderful visit to Paris. All went smoothly and we very much enjoyed staying in your apartment! Thanks so much for making it available to us. The layout and size were perfect for our family of four plus one friend. The girls had their own room, far from the parents, and our son had his little nook in the study. The space is beautifully decorated but not overly done. We admired the artwork and felt as if we were in a small museum. As you know we had a couple of problems initially with TV and hot water, but Stacy was responsive and kind and it all worked out fine. Thank you, by the way, for the lovely and delicious box of chocolates. We are savoring them one by one as an after-dinner treat, to keep the memory and tastes of Paris alive. Thanks again, Susan W.
