Come enjoy the beauty of the Great Smoky Mountains and relax in the comfort of our cozy log cabin. We are nestled conveniently off the spur between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. This is a great place for a romantic getaway or a family vacation. You can relax by a fire in the stack stone fireplace, doze in the rocking chairs on the covered porch or soak in the hot tub.
The cabin is beautifully decorated with all the conveniences of home and features three stained glass windows. We have two bedrooms each with a king bed. There are two full baths, one with a whirlpool tub.

I loved the experience and the queen beds were perfect and just right to sleep on, not to soft not to hard. The cabin is perfect if you plan on visiting Dollywood, Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg. We brought our motorcycles and rode the Dragons tail, it is about an hour ride from this location to get to US129. I would recommend that you drive a car or your motorcycles to this cabin, as you do encounter a large upgrade hill before getting to this cabin. Thanks for the stay!Recommended for: Pet owners, adventure seekers, sightseeing, romantic getaway.

We saw Dolly!!!! She made one of her surprise visits during our Dollywood experience. We so enjoyed The Bear's Den. The cabin's location is perfect for peace and quiet, yet not far from Dollywood and all the many other attractions in the area. The cabin was clean, beautiful and the bed was very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and the bathrooms were very spacious. I was surprised we were not bothrered at all with mosquitoes while enjoying the hot tub and chatting on the deck. Our grandson cried the morning we had to leave. We were a little disappointed and at the same time relieved we did not see a bear! Thank you Wayne for answering our questions and maintaining your property so well.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+, romantic getaway.

This cabin was a wonderful find. Just perfect for our family's needs. Beautiful deck and surrounding views. Unexpected piece of history at end of driveway that really needs to be showcased. Very peaceful. Must travel some curvy mountain roads, but they are well maintained and it was worth the curves. If you plan to use both bedrooms, I want to note the only drawback to this cabin was lack of privacy, due to the open loft and no insulation between top and bottom floors. Huge bathrooms with luxurious towels. The beds were nice and comfy with extra soft sheets. Would rent again and highly recommend.Recommended for: Families with young children, pet owners, girls getaway.

We stayed two nights in October just so we could go to Tony Gore's Gospel singin and BBQ house in Sevierville...he has the best ribs in the world...We checked in to the cabin late at night, everything was just as advertised the key box worked and at that time of night I was glad! The cabin is first rate nice thick towels it seemed so new...We saw Bear tracks on the deck..so we had to be careful taking our poodle out! And he wanted out Saturday night at 3am!!! take a flashlight for sure! the owners supply EVERYTHING YOU NEED...bring your toiletries... we alsways bring our own SOFT bath tissue you will need that too...the place is gorgeous and the beds slept great. My Wife has had back surgery and she did fine...Thanks for allowing us to use your cabin....We will be back. Ron/ BeckyRecommended for: Pet owners, sightseeing, age 55+.

We stayed in this cabin for 5 nights in July, 2010. The pictures are very accurate. The cabin was very clean and exactly as described. It is a very nice cabin. It is about 5 miles from redlight number 8, which is the Dollywood exit. We made the mistake of not following the owner's directions and followed our GPS, which did take us directly to the cabin, BUT it took us via Gnatty Branch Road, which is a very curvy, one lane road and we were scared to death when we met other cars on this road. Follow the directions that the owner gives and you will have no problem. On our last evening at the cabin, when we returned from an afternoon of shopping, we were greeted by a visitor. A big, black bear standing by our driveway. It was beautiful, but scurried quickly into the woods when we arrived. This cabin is a little out of the way, but that is exactly what you need if you are planning on getting away!Recommended for: Romantic getaway.
