Holden Beach, North Carolina - a south-facing beach offers much to those seeking solitude, quiet with little commercialization. A sleepy little beach town with no high rise condominiums - just cottages, with BIG city life 30 minutes away.
"KNOCK ON WOOD" is a great two-family rental. Located at 595 Ocean Blvd West, which is in the center of the island. An older oceanfront home that has and is still being updated and decorated. Central heating/air with ceiling fans in ALL rooms. Fully-equipped kitchen, large family room, and eating area. All rooms have cable TV and VCR. Sunroom and screened porch with rockers to observe those beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Upon request,I will email you a floor plan with bed sizes and a few interior photos.
While sitting on the end of the boardwalk at high tide you can almost put your toes in the Atlantic Ocean. An outside shower is available to wash away the salt and sand.
If you like walking on the beach, a lot of shells are deposited at high tide. If you look carefully, you might catch a dolphin or two.
NOTE: I rent SATURDAY-SATURDAY only April-October, I will consider nightly rentals (3 night minimum) November-March.
