Accommodations:  Home, 3 Bedrooms + Den, 3.5 Baths (Sleeps 6-8)

Beautifully furnished home in a very quiet part of Sanibel Island. Our home overlooks a lovely deep-water bayou with dock for a boat to take you right out into the bay in two minutes! Ride one of our four bikes to Bowmans Beach, Ding Darling Nature Reserve, and Captiva Island. Paddle one of our kayaks around into the bay to see the amazing wildlife Sanibel is home to. OR... sit by the pool or on the porch and watch the dolphins and manatees swim by in the bayou, fish from our dock for dinner, and pick the fruit from our trees as desert!

Ours is a comfortable and spacious home with a large en suite Master Bedroom opening onto the screened porch overlooking the pool and canal. There are 2 double Guest Bedrooms that share a bath and overlook the lush plantings in the front of the house. We have a queen pull-out couch in the Den and on the ground floor we have a sitting room leading out to the pool with a couch, chairs and a bar with fridge.There is also an extra full shower room down here. In our den, we have modern office conveniences including broadband computer access and free long distance calls.

This house is our special place and we would love to rent it to people who will appreciate it's privacy, charm and lovely condition. It is cosy for 2 people and has wonderful entertaining space for guests and family.

  • Hi Joan Your Sanibel home is fabulous! It was everything we could of wished for. Thank you very much for sharing it with us. We had a wonderful time and truly did not want to leave! My husband and son made full use of the fishing dock and caught 3 catfish. We took our wet bike with us and were delighted to see dolphin at very close range………fantastic! We borrowed your cycles and I collected many shells, I added some to your collection for you. Including 2 Sand Dollars which we found on a small beach at the end of Captiva.   • We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home in Sanibel. The house was spacious yet cozy at the same time. We loved being able to just walk out to the backyard and fish from the dock. We also enjoyed being able to sit from the screened patio and watch our children swim in the well maintained pool. We can't wait to go back! I would highly recommend this house for a romantic weekend for two or a getaway for the whole family!

  • This house felt like home. Spacious and light and very relaxed atmosphere. Across the street from a wonderful nature reserve and close to the beach where the shelling is magnificent. We watched dolphins from the beach and manatees in the bayou off the dock at the end of the garden. When we had swum in the pool we paddled the kayak down the bayou to the bay. Can't wait to go back.
